I cut out less than 30 holes with it and it was fine but it bent today, i went to home depot today though and they exchanged it for free so that was pretty cool.

Not perfect, but makes the job sooo much easier and neater that I had to rate it excellent.

They last 4-5 jobs— but okay for the type of construction work we do.

Great and easy to use.

Great compared to the Klein model just in overall ease of use and doesn’t need a Separate tool for adjustments

Junk can’t cut 1/2” drywall

Unlike competitive products, this tool has an autolocking feature to ensure the circumference remains constant from hole to hole. Meaning, the drill bit must be removed from the device in order to adjust the arms. With the unit fully assembled there is no way for either arm to move from the set length. I cut four holes today and each was perfectly cut. The dust shield was a HUGE bonus. Other than a little dust, the cleanup was a breeze. I highly recommend this tool.

Great tool for cutting holes in drywall for recessed lighting install. Not sure why anyone would try to use this for cutting harder materials like wood. This is definitely not the correct tool for that! Easy to adjust the hole size and cuts quickly and smoothly through drywall. I like that it can be taken apart for easier flat storage, but the bottom black piece snaps into the shield and requires a screwdriver to pry the tabs open to disassemble. Also, one of the tabs broke off after cutting the second hole and is no longer as secure with the shield, which is why I gave it only 4 stars.

Does the job.not so smooth but works.

I used it to cut 13 holes 6″ holes in 1/2″ drywall with no issues at all. The setting never changed. I saw other reviews where the arms of the cutter were bent. All I can say is those users must have tried to cut their hole too fast. The only problem I had I caused when I accidentally stepped on it and broke the plastic dust catcher.

Ok. Needs to be beefed up a little.

Wish I would have bought this tool when I did 40 plus high hat installation.

The blades grab into the drywall and the drill has a large kickback.

Sure beats cutting circles out of drywall the old way.

It will cut through 1/2” plywood if your drill has enough power for it. Im sure I ruined the blades but it managed to complete the work I had set out for it
