The Milwaukee 3/16 inch drill bit / hole saw were very effective regarding drilling 6 holes in porcelain tile – needed to mount a shower grab bar. I used a carbide pointed tip to just start each hole (as you would use a pointed tool on wood prior to drilling) and changed to a Milwaukee hole saw bit to drill through the tile. A tool that does the job quickly, kept bit from getting hot by occasionally spraying with water. The Milwaukee bits exceeded my expectations.

Gripped well, didn’t slide all over the ceramic piece and cut fast. Just what I needed.

This bit was recommended to drill through porcelain tile for installing a handicapped bar. It was a slow process but the bit performed perfectly. We applied water while drilling and that helped. Would recommend it for anyone needing to drill through tile.

I used it to drill rocks. It’s not a bad bit but it didn’t last a long as I had hoped. I have gotten cheaper bits that have lasted longer

Works as it should. I would recommend this.

Needed to drill a hole in my quartz counter top for a side faucet. This bit with a water dam took care of the situation.

Works great! I bought other bits but nothing else worked on my porcelain tile. I found these at my local big box store & having trust in the Milwaukee brand tried them out. Couldn’t be happier! Go slow with med pressure & plenty of water. Same story, you get what you paid for.

Used to dry-bore holes in stone fireplace facade for mounting a widescreen TV. I used hanger bolts so that the TV mount would standoff ½ inch from the uneven stone. Worked great. Take your time. Don’t force the drill. Use vacuum to suck up all the dust.

Worked great……………………first time ever drilling into ceramic tile and no mistakes!

I needed to remove a broken easy out from a broken transmission bolt. This worked better than expected. Second time a bit like this saved me on this project.

Worked great and hasn’t dulled yet on porcelain shower with door install. 15 holes last drilled the same as the first.

Worked like a charm! (Have to start on the perimeter of your hole at an angle.)

Instruction and water is the key

Works good, user water and start on an angle. As you cut vary your angle slightly.

I bought this to drill holes in ceramic pots for my wife’s succulents. It works much better than carbide drill bits. It seems to be lasting longer too.

Have not had a chance to use this due to Covid 19, as this was to be used to install grab bars at my ex-wife’s and her husband who are both in bad shape medically. Will do that after they get the vaccine and it has time to work. Looks like a quality product and I expect to perform just like any other Milwaukee product.

Great product if you are drilling through something and into tile etc. For example through a porch railing foot and into tile below. If attempting to drill directly into tile with nothing to guide bit I would recommend a sharp point drill bit.
