I Cut Through 3′ concrete in two different locations. The hole saw seemed to do an excellent job and cut a nice clean hole. It does not have a pilot bit in the center, so I cut a 1″ hole in a board to use as my Gide. I clamped the board in place, & the hole saw was slow, but steady and clean. I did add a little water to help with the cutting. I wold deffinatly recumbent this hole saw for concrete or tile, possibly granite.

I was extremely skeptical about drilling the hole myself due to the risk of granite cracking. However a friend tried this before me and was able to successfully drill the hole. He offered me the bit and I was able to successfully drill the hole in almost 10 – 15 minutes (taking breaks and cooling off). Go slow and steady and you will be able to get it done in no time. I purchased this product but ended up returning it unopened as the friend’s bit helped with the drilling (which tells the drill bit lasts for atleast 2 drills). I definitely recommend this product.

I used this diamond tip drill bit to drill into a porcelain tile. It did the job albeit a slow process which was to be expected. The key is to keep the drill bit wet and drill slow and steady. I was very satisfied that I was able to get the holes drilled with no issues. It’s an expensive drill bit but overall worth its’ value.

It’s extremely important to follow the guidance of keeping the work area wet. Without water, you’ll destroy the bit without making much progress. With water, you’ll drill right through the porcelain with minimal impact on the bit.

Could not believe how well this hole saw worked without a centering bit. Drilled a 1 inch hole in a piece of board to use as a holder while keeping area wet with a spray bottle of water. Very happy.

Have not had a chance to use this due to Covid 19, as this was to be used to install grab bars at my ex-wife’s and her husband who are both in bad shape medically.
