overall a nice design…however, it took over an hour to grind a 1 1/4″ hole into a granite counter top to install a disposal switch. Used water to pull out grit but it still took way too long to cut through standard granite. Do not recommend.

Great product! I bought this to install an air switch for my garbage disposal. It slowly but surely chewed its way through a 3/4 inch quartz countertop leaving a very clean hole for my install. Use lots of water and rinse the cutting area frequently and this thing will not let you down. Its a bit annoying that you have to buy the pilot bit separately but it all works the way it’s supposed to, so I guess it’s worth it.

I needed to use this to cut holes on pavers to install well lights on my walkway, but unfortunately it was not deep enough to cut all the way through the pavers, so never really used it for that reason. Also the starter bit that I purchased that was recommended for it broke in minutes.

Drilled through the epoxy counter top like butter!

This hole saw cuts right through porcelain tile. The arbor doesn’t work as well; so be prepared to have to steady this hole saw.

I had to cut a hole 2 1/2 inches so I could pull a connector receptacle out of a microwave case to replace a connector build into the wall of the kitchen. This saw was easy to cut the hole in a very tight place. This job will save me from having to replace the entire oven/microwave unit.

To install a new faucet into a bathroom sink, the hole was about 1/8th inch too narrow in the sink. This hole saw let me open the sink hole to fit the new faucet stem and Bobs your uncle, never looked back.

If you know how to use a diamond holesaw these will cut a lot of holes. They are high quality and I swear by their use. If you are a novice these will blow through a few holes unless you go gorilla crazy, but you would have ruined the surface you were trying to drill. Get a 1/8 diamond drill and make a center drill point for your center guide and keep smooth and even pressure while cooling with water spray, be smooth and take your time and these will work for anybody.I hope you find this info useful. I have cut ceramic and porcelain tiles as well as marble/granite stone with no issues. Good luck and happy holesawing!
