I was enlarging existing holes in a fiberglass bathtub for a new faucet and was unable to use a starter bit. This bit was easy to use by tilting it to catch an edge and get the hole started and then leveling out to drill smoothly and quickly through the fiberglass, leaving a clean edged hole. My only issue was neither of the two Home Depot stores where I live carried the size I needed in stock and I had to order it, delaying my project some.

Great. Precise Cut. Saved the day. Last minute change, in paver lighting required drilling thru small rectangle pavers. Usual drill kept breaking pavers before getting through. Not Milwaukee’s Diamond Hole Saw- two drilled thru 14 pavers. They were worn out but did the job. Saving the day and increasing profit. They cut with little pressure and little water. Boring thru pavers without breaking or chipping. Smooth cutting using 1/2 electric drill. Another awesome Milwaukee product available at Home Depot. Highly satisfied and recommend these 2 1/2 diamond hole saw.

It does the job. I rated it 4 because I still need to buy an adapter to make it work.

I made 22 holes on a mirror with this thing in about an 40mins to an hour. Still has a lot of life left in it. I use a couple of these in different sizes and they all work great. Wouldn’t trust any other brand besides Milwaukee. The drill I used was also a Milwaukee battery m18 powered.

I’ve used it to make a hole in granite counter top in the kitchen so I can add a new faucet for the water filter. Worked just fine. It took about 10 min to drill the hole. I would recommend this tool!

If you know how to use a diamond holesaw these will cut a lot of holes. They are high quality and I swear by their use. If you are a novice these will blow through a few holes unless you go gorilla crazy, but you would have ruined the surface you were trying to drill. Get a 1/8 diamond drill and make a center drill point for your center guide and keep smooth and even pressure while cooling with water spray, be smooth and take your time and these will work for anybody.I hope you find this info useful. I have cut ceramic and porcelain tiles as well as marble/granite stone with no issues. Good luck and happy holesawing!

This product did exactly what we intended it to do — make a clean-cut opening in the new marble tile above the bathtub.

Cut a whole in a porcelain sink go real slow so it will not chip and use cutting oil to cool and clean out bit every min. with water will cut better. Great bit to use–slow as you go. and cleanThis was for and RO system

It wanted to walk a little bit at first, but once I had a groove, it made quick work of a glass tile backsplash. I bought 2 thinking that it would be more difficult – not the case.
