Use the Milwaukee 4 in. Bi-Metal Hole Saw to cut holes in a variety of materials. The steel hole saw can drill almost 2 in. D. Milwaukee Ice Hardened products utilize a proprietary cryogenic hardening process that improves upon traditional heat treat processes. Unlike surface coatings that wear away, cryogenics harden to the core by minimizing soft metal (austenite) and creating more hard metal (Marten site). The result is a product that is more consistently hard throughout, resulting in life up to 50% longer than the competition.
- 1/2 in. chuck size

Great for wood, or mild steel sheet metal!

I purchased this hole saw to use for cutting holes in steel and it worked flawlessly. So far I have bored six 2″ diameter holes in 1/8″ thick steel and the cutter is still going strong. I have been using it in a bench mill so I have control over the proper feed and cutting speed but for thinner steel, using it in a hand held drill would work fine.

If you are using 3 inch pipe and need to get it through a hole you will need the 3.5 inch hole. Works great for my application. I really like all the holes to help you get the plug out.

Excellent, well designed hole saw. It is far easier to remove the cut materials from this hole saw than with the design from most other manufacturers. It is a long life hole saw as well.

These are great. I used it for notching a roll cage in a car. I tried a competitor carbide tipped deeper saw that was blue and it destroyed itself. The Hole Dozer was awesome.

Hole saw is very aggressive, I am not sure how long it will hold up yet.

I had the Milwaukee Dozer before and it wore out after many uses. Although it felt sharp it would take 15 minutes to bore through a 2×10. It is amazing how much faster and how much time is saved with the new one. The cost is worth the time savings. I wish there was a way to refurbish the old one that appears to be good. Perhaps, like printer cartridges, Milwaukee should supply a postage-free bag to return the old. I have several of different sizes that could be refurbished. It is a good tool worth the cost.

I needed to cut a 4 1/4 hole and this did the job. I’d guess any of the several companies that make these hole saws would be just as good

Was told it was a universal hole saw that would fit most door knob hole jigs – well this one did not.
