The Milwaukee 6 in. Hole Dozer Hole Saw features Rip Guard teeth that were built with more steel behind the cutting edge for added strength. They give you increased productivity on the job site as well as better hole quality, and are backed by a limited lifetime tooth break warranty. The Hole Dozer comes with a Plug Jack, an all-access slot design that allows for full access during plug removal. The Plug Jack enables access lower into the cup for thick material and higher towards the teeth for thin material. With multiple positions to apply leverage and better plug access, the Plug Jack eliminates wasted downtime between holes. Pair this hole saw kit with universal quick-change arbors for fast, tool-free change-outs (model numbers 49-56-7210, 49-56-7240, 49-56-7250 and 49-56-9100 – sold separately).

These are great. I used it for notching a roll cage in a car. I tried a competitor carbide tipped deeper saw that was blue and it destroyed itself. The Hole Dozer was awesome.

If you are using 3 inch pipe and need to get it through a hole you will need the 3.5 inch hole. Works great for my application. I really like all the holes to help you get the plug out.

I purchased this hole saw to use for cutting holes in steel and it worked flawlessly. So far I have bored six 2″ diameter holes in 1/8″ thick steel and the cutter is still going strong. I have been using it in a bench mill so I have control over the proper feed and cutting speed but for thinner steel, using it in a hand held drill would work fine.

Boy Scout Troop 937 in Keller, Texas turned Home Depot’s 18 gallon storage containers into Winter Cat Shelters using this 5” hole saw, to make an entrance/exit. Once lined with foam board styrofoam, secured with duct tape and filled with straw, our 35 containers were ready to distribute to families in the community for their outside kitties.

I had the Milwaukee Dozer before and it wore out after many uses. Although it felt sharp it would take 15 minutes to bore through a 2×10. It is amazing how much faster and how much time is saved with the new one. The cost is worth the time savings. I wish there was a way to refurbish the old one that appears to be good. Perhaps, like printer cartridges, Milwaukee should supply a postage-free bag to return the old. I have several of different sizes that could be refurbished. It is a good tool worth the cost.
