The sockets are solid but I would not call 2 sockets a set! This package has the two deep well sockets and a 1/4″ Hex to 1/2″ square Drive adapter. I personally would like to have a complete set of Deep well impact sockets SAE and Metric. Having the two sockets SAE 1/2″ AND 9/16 May help but having a complete set would really do the job. The sockets are ruggedly built but I find it impossible to read the small size markings without my glasses and even difficult with them. I would prefer the sockets to have the Easy-to-read, high-contrast permanent laser etched size markings.

This 1/2 inch impact duty deep well socket set is well made and will fit any drive tool that uses 1/4 inch hex bits. There are only two sockets included (1/2 and 9/16) but they are sizes that are needed for commonly used fasteners such as lag bolts. The thin wall design is nice because it makes the socket thinner along its length as opposed to most regular impact sockets that are fairly fat. This socket is about the size of a normal socket (non-impact rated) and the deep well design means that you can drive a nut onto a bolt for about 2 1/2 inches before your ratchet bottoms out. The actual hex drive section of the deep well reaches in approximately 1 inch with the rest of the internal length being round to clear the threaded end of the bolt. Of course the 1/2 inch drive adapter can be used with any 1/2 inch socket or accessory. The only small complaint I have with this set is that the size markings on the sockets are very small and are hard to read. It appears that they are laser engraved. A tiny amount of dirty grease or oil will completely obscure the size marking. In summary, this set is very good if you need only the two sockets that are included. Milwaukee also makes a more complete 9 piece set (49-66-4484) that is available at Home Depot.

Used this with my M18 impact driver and they held up great. I was taking apart some old ac and furnace units for scrap. Also used them for a truck repair I had to do. The sockets themselves are good and feel like good quality impact sockets compared to some other ones I have. The insert that goes into the impact driver is still looking good considering i put through a lot already and dropped it a few times. The ball on the insert adapter works great too as I did not have any problems with any sockets falling off. I wish the kit would have a few more deep socket sizes in it but it’s a good product.

Nice looking and rugged set of sockets with an adapter for your impact gun. They are a perfect fit for the bolts on my Torro Zero turn Mower. Comes with a 1/2 inch and a 9/16 inch deep dish impact socket, They are exactly the sizes I wanted without having to buy a whole set. The thin wall sockets are easy to get into recessed spaces around my mowers deck. I really like the black finish it seems to wipe off grease and dirt and keep there looks. Just the size I needed.

The adapter allows one to use sockets on an impact driver and stand up to the brutal force of an impact driver. The deep well sockets (2 are included, a 1/2 inch and 9/16 inch) are tough and designed to take a beating. They snap onto the adapter easily and they are 6 Point sockets (yeah, more bearing surface contacted) designed to lock down and hammer in. Yeah, I like these, like other Milwaukee products. I am going to have to out and buy some other sizes as I really most commonly use the 3/4 inch socket. Lovin’ it! There ya go!

What a great socket set! This is made of good, strong metal, and looks and feels like it can handle just about anything you can throw at it. We were looking for a good set that would stand up to a remodeling job that we are doing, and this seems like it’s doing great so far. These sockets are a great accessory for any impact driver. My existing bit set already had the smaller sizes but these are the most common larger sizes you’ll use. I used them to loosen some stubborn nuts on a woodworking machine base. As you can see by the video they made quick work. I paired it with a Surge driver in this case and you can hear that it was pretty quiet overall. I can’t think of anything I’d like different about this set as it has everything I need, the sockets are machined well, and they look like they’ll stand up to the test of time.

i received this impact ready sockets and have been using them taking apart an old truck and they have work very well cant find anything wrong with them i have been using the m18 1/4 hex impact and they are a charm i definately reccommend this sockets to any mechanic milwaukee has been doing very well with their tools the only thing is that they are kind of expensive but if you need them, those sockets are the only ones you will ever buy.
