Since it appears to be the only option at this time for the 28 volt Milwaukee light I bought it hoping that the promise of longer life will happen. I am pleased with led lights in general, so I am expecting this to be good to.

Like most upgrades not as good as new but better than the old

Very powerful light! and my battery can last all day on this bulb.. Also does not burn out like the regular bulbs even if you drop it-

Bright light that equals the output of my conventional bulb. Provides the same brightness for the whole workday versus a few hours with the incandescent bulb. Lamp head now cool to the touch!

Pricy, but works well. Battery life much longer than with standard bulb.

The LED upgrade bulb was easy to install and gives off a brilliant light. The expected extended life of this over the older in can descent bulb should make it a worthwhile purchase.

This LED bulb upgrade was a bit pricey but well worth it! Being an LED light the absence of a filament should make this a more durable and long lasting light.

OK – this thing is really amazing. I have put it in both my Makita and Dewalt and not only does it provide a ton of light (it was not horrible before but this is at least as bright) but when I drop it I am not looking for a new bulb. Seems to be rugged and well built. I also think the Milwaukee logo looks pretty cool in my yellow Dewalt – nice job guys!

Friend of mine got me one of these. What a fantastic way to make your old flash light into one that is unbelievable bright and yet lasts longer. Easy to install… great product.

Previous bulb went out so decided for the upgrade. pretty cool if light gets dropped, dont have to worry about bulb messing up. light itself is not brighter but equivelent to previous.

I was looking for a replacement bulb and the sales staff and Milwaukee rep offered to upgrade to this bulb. I did and I am glad I did. Excellent choice.

It has a bright white light, compared to the regular warm bulb, it has almost same distance by the lummems of original bulb, still hope it last as long as promoted by the factory , one excellent benefit is chock proof, i tested it few times and highs

Tired of replacing the incandescent bulbs over and over again on my 18v Ryobi work lights, I started looking online for a drop-in LED replacement. After a fair amount of research and a couple of calls, I found out that this LED is manufactured by TerraLUX for Milwaukee and is a drop-in replacement. I found replacement lamps from foreign sources for as little as $10 + shipping, but there was no guarantee that they’d fit or work with my Ryobi lights. It was worth it to pay a little more for an LED from a company I know (TerraLUX), guaranteed by a company I know (Home Depot). The bulb fit perfectly, throws more light than the standard DeWalt incandescent bulbs I usually buy from HD, is more impact resistant, and should last much longer (limited lifetime warranty). This is just what I was looking for.
