I had the old filament style bulb blow after I dropped the light 40 feet. the replacement LED style light was a great option! it with stands the vigorous working environment and takes the abuse a lot better. I’ve dropped the light a couple times and it has yet to miss a beat! works great!!!!

It does give you the LED light instead of the incandescent light the old bulb output. The light is a “hotter temperature” the bulb searches out farther and it has a “hot spot” that an LED light gives you. if you’re looking for more light up close don’t go this way. If you want to search out farther than this upgrade is for you!

Bought this to upgrade from the incandescent bulb. Great upgrade. Battery on the light lasts four times longer. Heck of a lot brighter.I dropped the light accidentally off the back of a excavator the day after I got the bulb. It fell about 8 ft onto concrete. This would have definitely broken the incandescent bulb but this led bulb never even blinked. Very pleased and well worth the money.

So far it’s working good. It’s not the brightest flashlight I have but with that 18V battery it should last a long time. Seems a bit expensive ( pay a lot for the name)
