I wish that Milwaukee had a filter that you could wash because these filters are expensive thus the loss of a star. I will be trying to clean the filter by blowing out with air due to the cost. The only reason I purchased an extra one was that it was $5.00 off on the Black friday sales and I would not be buying one at the normal price. However I do like the use of a Hepa filter to eliminate dust and other contaminants from coming out of the vacuum’s exhaust. Milwaukee please lower the price on this filter otherwise the vacuum is not cost effective to use compared to other plug in vac’s I have. I also wish I had known this filter was not able to be cleaned and so costly before I purchased the vacuum.

I bought this so the outlet smell on my wet dry vac would go away. I already cleaned out the entire inside everywhere. I thought replacing the old dirty filter was necessary to combat the smell but it didn’t get rid of it

Easy to replace on the M18 wet/dry vac. Filter material seems very high quality. I usually take the filter off after I’m done using the vac and shake out all the dirt and dust from it to prolong its life.
