This blade is a very stable blade and cuts well because of the segment cuts that allow the material to clear the blade. The steel is very hard and there is no flex. Only 9-inch diameter will cut most sidewalks (3.75 inch). This is an excellent cutting blade for concrete and block. The kerf is slightly wider than the disk and allows easy cutting without clogging up. The 16 perpendicular segments seem to keep the blade stiff and strong. Cuts green or reinforced concrete, easily.

This Milwaukee blade (Diamond Premium 9 in segmented) performed very well. I cut a curb that stood up 3in. higher than the road and apron at the end of the driveway, the curb is 6 in. wide so it had to be cut from both sides about half way to cut completely through and the driveway is a double width making it about 34 ft. length. The blade shows some use but has more life in it. I am very happy with the blade. This eliminated a hazard that someone could trip on and etc.

This blade worked better than I expected . It cut clean quick lines in 6000 PSI concrete with out water. After cutting 3 1/2 inch deep crack control joints by 200 feet long the blade barely had any ware. It doesn’t get better than that. I rate it 5 stars all day.

I received the Milwaukee Premium 9 in Segmented blade a few days ago. I have not had the opportunity to use this blade as yet, but the reason I ordered it was due to previous experiences cutting floor and back splash tiles during a remodeling project using a Milwaukee diamond blade. The diamond blade worked flawlessly, making nice sharp cuts. The old adage “you get what you pay for” is particularly true in this case. I had used a less expensive diamond blade, and the results while not horrible, were not nearly as good as with the Milwaukee diamond blade. I have added a few pictures below. I highly recommend this blade if you are going to be working stone and/or concrete. You won’t be disappointed.

Bought this for my 9 inch mikwaukee angle grinder, fit perfectly and was able to do a few hours of concrete grinding without noticing any wear.
