The most powerful single-speed hammer drill on the market, with up to 2X more durability. This practical 8 Amp, dual-mode Hammer Drill offers power and versatility for a variety of tough jobs, with an impressive 0-2,800 RPMs and 0-48.000 BPMs. Superior engineering, an all-metal gear case and a heavy-duty metal chuck make this twice as durable as the leading competitor while maintaining outstanding performance. The compact 11.5 profile lets you work in tight spaces and the two modes accommodate drilling in wood, steel and plastic or hammer drilling in concrete. A removable 360 side handle helps you set the depth rod for pre-set hole drilling. Over-molding ensures a surer, more comfortable grip and minimizes vibration and fatigue on the jobsite.

Very limited use as of today. Tool appears to be solid and user friendly to hold and use.

The drill was a christmas gift for my son-in-law because he was always borrowing my corded drill. We both hated the rechargeable drills because they were never ready when we needed them. He recently used it to replace some oak stair treads and wanted me to know the drill was the “cat’s a—”.

I upgraded from a cordless drill when I needed to drill a pilot hole into a sheared-off steel bolt on my car for extraction. I put a $5 cobalt bit on it, and the Milwaukee had the job done in 5 minutes. No wobbling/buckling at all. Very happy.

I’m very satisfied with the pro quality of the drill’s operation and features. Plenty of power for it’s compact size and rating. The hammer drill is the plus. This replaced an old Craftsman 1/2 inch drill.

I needed a drill that would make easy work of drilling through concrete blocks and driving Tapcons. This is a great drill – it is powerful enough, and the variable-speed trigger actually works, unlike pretty much every drill I’ve bought in the past. A small amount of pressure on the trigger, and the drill rotates slowly enough to be precise when driving screws (when I used an air-driven hammer wrench, it slammed the screws in too fast to control – not good when, for example, you want to screw in something like plastic shutters). This is the best drill I own.

Worked good for what l have used it. The chuck itself works better than my old one.

I had to replace a similiar Makita corded drill. This has more amperage and good weight.

Have a Milwaukee drill and sawzaw but needed a hamer drill to anchor a pergalous on the concrete slab in my back yard , once I got a good concrete bit , went through it like butter. Very satisfied.

Milwaukee has been known as a product that is worthy of every tradesman. This hammer drill has what it takes to get the job done.

I needed this drill to install a winch on the concrete floor of my garage. Coupled with a Milwaukee hammer drill bit, it went through the concrete like butter. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the bit loosened up occasionally, which meant I had to retighten it to continue drilling. Otherwise a very good tool. Worth the price.

Makes quick work out of otherwise slow, timely job. Used this drill to replace an off brand hammer drill and I could not believe the difference it made to use a quality made drill. For those who have trouble with the bits loosening, put your chuck key in each of the three holes when tightening. This drill is made to vibrate, that’s what makes it work so well, so the chuck is bound to loosen at some point.

I bought this drill about a year ago and love it. I was debating between this one and the heavier duty milwaukee and went with this one because of the price. I have used it for tap cons, drilling 2-3″ core, and many more projects. I love the speed on this drill. It is much faster than most of the drills I have seen. I am actually glad I bought this one because it is shorter than the heavier duty drill and can fit into tighter spaces. On the one review the individual said that they didn’t like the plastic depth rod. The one I have is metal so I have no complaints. If I did have to complain about anything it is the fact that it is made in China. I really wish we could find more things made in the USA.

This was my first purchase of a hammer drill. It did the job easily and made my project a success. The price was good.

Milwaukee is the gold standard of power tools, and this drill is no exception. Took it out of the box and drilled 4 1/2″ holes, 3″ deep into solid poured concrete. Not effortless, but quickly and easily. Light enough to handle and heavy enough to do the job. Excellent product.

I’m happy with my purchase because I wanted a drill that was compact and had decent power. For my needs this drill works good and I have no complaints, and it is made to be durable.
