The Milwaukee 1-3/4 in. SDS-Max Rotary Hammer has a powerful 15 Amp Motor capable of delivering 8.1 ft./lbs. of impact energy for the most demanding applications. The AUTOSTOP E-Clutch prevents over-rotation of the tool in case of tool lock up giving users a more controlled experience while using the corded rotary hammer drill. The variable speed dial allows users to set the optimal speed per application while 2 modes, Rotary Hammer and Hammer Only, allow easy transitions between drilling large holes or chipping applications. When chipping, a lock-on button allows users to chip without constantly pulling the trigger. Built-in Advanced AVS (Anti-Vibration System) minimizes the vibration users feel while using the rotary hammer drill. Includes a free 13 Amp 5 in. Small Angle Grinder With Dial Speed (6117-33D). The 13 Amp small angle grinder from Milwaukee maintains speed under load to power through tough jobs. Undeterred by industrial-grade materials, this 5 in. grinder spins up to 11,000 RPM with enhanced circuitry to prevent overloading or overheating.

Okay to use at waist to knee level, above your head expect to require support. The clutch does not slip and will crank your arm around if it catches on rebar. I have used hammer drills before and this is not the easiest I’ve used. Will see how durable it will be, in the long run, and going to see if the clutch can be adjusted; this will turn a would be “pig” into a partially comfortable tool.

I use this for chopping through concrete like butter. It’s an incredible hammer drill. It’s very reasonably weighted. It has a convenient adjustable side handle that allows for you to easily position and hold the tool safely to just about any location needed. The finger trigger is also very nicely formed into the handle at the rear. Once you lock the desired chisel or drill bit in place they never fall out during use. (Unlike other brands I have used) just be aware there are no bits included. The case for storage is very rugged and should last for years. I highly recommend this tool.

This 15 AMP 1-3/4 IN. SDS-MAX CORDED COMBINATION HAMMER WITH E-CLUTCH is a great tool! I have been a builder remodeler for 49 years, so I have a little experience in the use of tools, in fact I have a reputation of having every tool known to man! But one tool I haven’t owned until now is a big rotary hammer, as I don’t usually use one all the time. So I’ve typically rented one. But it just happened that I needed to drive some ground rods. So when I got this, it was the perfect tool for the job! When I got this hammer I was ready to drill & drive! And boy did it do the job! Power to spare, I’m not looking back! This is one awesome tool!

It seam’s to be a good tool, but time will tell.It is pretty noisy and rough sounding.I replaced a DeWalt Grinder the same size and it was Excellent Quality for many years.I choose the Milwaukee brand because of the variable speed option which is Great it is very powerful just rough and noisy sounding. But like I said time will tell.I actually want another 5 inch Grinder so I don’t have to keep switching back and forth with a sanding disk or a grinding rock. But I think I will buy another DeWalt and see how the new ones are.I hope this review helps I really think it will be alright, after all it is a Milwaukee.PS the only reason I gave it 4 star’s is became of the sound Everything else is Quality.

I have used Milwaukee grinders in a production setting for 15 years. Their durability under duress is beyond reproach; when I find something that works, I stick with it. The variable speed dial on this unit makes it extremely versatile. Whether you are using a cut-off wheel, a grinding wheel, a sander, polisher, or wire brush, the ability to fine-tune the RPMs is priceless.

Capable, heavy-duty, thoughtfully designed, with Milwaukee’s reliably high quality! MAX refers to the bit-shank design (see photo to appreciate the difference). Bits are sold separately and easy to find with a simple SDS MAX search on the homedepot.com website. Also on the website >> Product Overview >> Info and Guides. Click on the link “Use and Care Manual” for clear guidance on safe use, detailed operation, extension cord selection, and versatility. We really appreciate the smart design, especially as it pertains to comfort, safety, and capabilities. Hard-sided carrying case is a plus transporting a 30-plus pound tool and accessories! Now, we’ve got some concrete to chip and the workhorse to do it!

This Milwaukee 15 AMP 1-3/4 IN. SDS-MAX CORDED COMBINATION HAMMER DRILL WITH E-CLUTCH is THE best heavy duty Hammer Drill driver I have ever used. It has a 15 Amp motor, and over 8 foot-pounds impact, yet the e-clutch and Anti-Vibration system stops white knuckles. The rotary hammer option or hammer only allows specific uses, without having to hang onto the trigger. Variable speed allows correct choice of rotary speeds. The big chuck takes industrial bits. All in all a durable, easy to use and the best hammer drill anyone could want.

I can not praise the15 Amp 1-3/4 in. SDS-MAX Corded Combination Hammer with E-Clutch enough. I have had it for 1 week and put it to work right away. I drilled 11/4 inch holes for large bolts in my cement house foundation. I am also am using it for breaking rock on my mountain side to smooth out my walk way to the side of my home. I love the ease of chaining bits for the tool. It is a little heavy but it does not much pressure to drill or hammer drill. I would recommend this tool to anyone.

Very impressive and serious tool, with all the rough, dirty and constant abuse resistance that a professional grade rating demands of it, built in. It has features that clearly meet the requirements for contractor job site performance and safety, including an extra-large “Deadman” safety power switch that requires a constant but relatively light hand grip or it shuts off instantly. There is a large and strong adjustable side handle for firm control, making it handy for both left and right handers, an extra-large trigger guard, the largest and easiest tool retainer mechanism I have ever seen on an electric tool of this considerable size, a large, beefy, clearly marked rotary style tool bit function switch and a glove friendly wheel type speed control, instead of the usual tiny slide switch that needs a bare hand to operate. All the operating controls are specifically designed to permit you to easily operate the tool while wearing gloves. This is a long list of really important safety feature for such a powerful tool. It comes with an exceptionally nice custom fit red storage/travel case, typical with Milwaukee tools, with the traditional white “Milwaukee” script logo molded in. Room is provided inside the case for safe separate tool storage and there is a realistic amount of room to easily store the generous sized and heavy power cord. There are large steel latches to secure the closed case, a heavy glove sized carry handle, necessary for the surprising weight of the tool, and it combines the toughness to protect the tool in the back of a service truck, while looking good and saving space on the shelf. I was surprised at how quiet and solid sounding the powerful motor runs, and it spins up to speed with conviction, the heavy gearing and power being obvious to the ear. Sweet! I gave it an initial test with a stack of solid three-inch-thick concrete pavers, which it split instantly, with no noticeable effort. It is designed and marketed primarily for the demanding concrete and building maintenance trades, but like a number of professional tools I have justified for myself over the years, It allows the ambitious homeowner or property manager to save some serious money on their occasional smaller projects, and returns the one time investment every time you put it to work. The tool draws 15 amps under load, so particularly on jobs where you have a longer run to line power or a generator, it is advisable to use a ten or twelve-gauge extension cord with it. Suitable extension cords and the wide variety of concrete bits this tool can handle, are available at Home Depot and other tool suppliers at very competitive prices. I am very impressed with the quality and performance.

This tool is a heavy duty commercial grade rotary hammer. You can use it to drill in concrete or block and use it as a chipping hammer with multiple different bits. This tool is fairly heavy at 23lbs but that weight can help when drill downwards. If you are drilling horizontally it can be a bit of a bear. All in all this is another great tool from milwaukee.

This variable speed grinder is amazing. Comes with a 5 year warranty that no competitor has. Performs as it should. Using it to remove paint off facia boards on the house. Eats right thru the paint down to the wood for quick removal. Only needed to use the 1 st speed setting . Recommend using it with flap wheel sand paper .
