The Milwaukee 1-3/4 in. SDS-Max Rotary Hammer has a powerful 15 Amp Motor capable of delivering 8.1 ft./lbs. of impact energy for the most demanding applications. The AUTOSTOP E-Clutch prevents over-rotation of the tool in case of tool lock up giving users a more controlled experience while using the corded rotary hammer drill. The variable speed dial allows users to set the optimal speed per application while 2 modes, Rotary Hammer and Hammer Only, allow easy transitions between drilling large holes or chipping applications. When chipping, a lock-on button allows users to chip without constantly pulling the trigger. Built-in Advanced AVS (Anti-Vibration System) minimizes the vibration users feel while using the rotary hammer drill. Includes a free 13 Amp 5 in. Small Angle Grinder With Dial Speed (6117-33D). The 13 Amp small angle grinder from Milwaukee maintains speed under load to power through tough jobs. Undeterred by industrial-grade materials, this 5 in. grinder spins up to 11,000 RPM with enhanced circuitry to prevent overloading or overheating.

Great grinder! I install marble and granite for a living and this is the best grinder I have found for cutting and polishing natural stone and quartz.

This is a good product. But as a woman, it is heavy. The multi speed is a plus. But the online description says it has grinder attachment included, but small print on box says not included. The grinder attachment is not included. But I think this should be a good investment.

The dial speed lets me have better control. When I use it to polish granite and marble the speed is important so the stone doesn’t burn or blister. I have to do repairs right in the homes, and I can control the over spray (when I use water). to keep from getting a big mess.

This Milwaukee corded rotary hammer is the top of the line corded version of the old but proven Milwaukee Model 5426. The tool comes with a blow molded carrying case which will also house a decent assortment of SDS Max bits. What makes this model different but more importantly improved is the fact this newest rotary hammer has variable speeds for both hammering and/or rotary hammering. Features retained include an adjustable/rotatable handle which can also be moved to either side of the tool for either left or right handed people. The option of using both handles allows better control along for balancing/distributing weight to both hands as this tool weights in excess of 20+ pounds. To get a good idea of tool weight, this rotary hammer is over 2/3 the weight of a normal sized cinder block hence user control of this tool is important. On a positive note the weight of the tool does make it advantageous to drill or chip downward. Weight of the tool along with drill bit assists in aiding in drilling and/or chipping. Chipping or drilling upwards or laterally will definitely give the user quite a bit of a workout. Again, because of the 20+ pound of weight drilling lag bolt anchors or sinking ground rods is a absolute joy with this beast. This rotary hammer uses SDS-Max bits so be cognizant of this fact because normal SDS bits will not fit. I still install quite of bit of wrought-iron railing and window security gates and this tool should pay for itself in less than a years time.
