I’ve owned and used this router for 13 years , but haven’t used it all that much and the bearings are about to go out on it. I’ve owned and used several other major brands of routers with much more usage time and have never had bearings go out on any them,so unless they have upgraded their bearings I wouldn’t recommend this router.

Great router! Only drawback is I thought it would adjust for deeper cuts but overall, it has the power and the feel to make great cuts. I would recommerhis router to anyone.

This has become my go-to router. I built my kitchen cabinets and furniture from scratch and this tool was a godsend. The power and balance are excellent, but it is the Body-Grip design that separates this tool from other premium routers. One hand operation of a full-sized router is a huge deal for me when it come to renovation projects.

I have always been a Porter Cable fan but I decided to try this out because I love Milwaukee and I was curious how this would operate. I have never felt so comfortable with a router before than I have with this. The bodygrip is amazing, it allows me to have complete control over whatever I’m cutting through and whatever bit I am using. I spent the extra $20 for the case, and although comically enormous, very, very convenient. When I use it I can remove the base of the case and let it sit flat until I’m done; then I just slide it right back into the case. There is no better router, I highly recommend it to anyone.

To coin a phrase ‘It does what it says on the tin’. Great manufacturer reputation with a solid machine and at a very competitive price … what’s not to like?Shame then, that Milwaukee omit the inclusion of a small T20 Torx wrench to remove the sub-base for mounting on a router table but apart from that, no complaints.

This router is the best router out there and it is must have tool for your workshop. We bought this router about 9 years ago and after building 5 tradeshow booths, among multiple stage constructions and putting it through its paces in an assembly line for stage boxes, this guy never let us down. After 9 years of service it started making a whinning noise, so we decided that it was time to retire this guy. After shopping around online and at the store, we saw that they still made this router. So no brainer, if it worked for 9 years, for the price it costs, it is definitely worth it. Thanks Milwaukee for making a great tool! (By the way, the old router still works and we keep it on the shelf for small jobs. It just makes weird noises.)

Have been using this router a lot since buying it several months ago. It is very solid, and works great. I have it mounted in a home-made router table. Naturally I would like it better if it were a plunge router and had variable speeds, but plugging it into a low-cost speed controller ($20) solves the variable speed issue. For what it is intended to be, this is a very nice tool.

Buying things without being able to actually see them physically leaves you open to disappointing purchases sometimes .BUT I did have faith in Milwaukee AND Home Depot so this purchase online felt pretty good and I am happy to say the router works beautifully and Home Depot delivered it in excellent condition

I’ve had it for about 2 months now and have put a lot of hours on it. Haven’t had any issues with functionality or power. Would definitely buy again.
