Milwaukee gives you peak control and maneuverability in a powerful 2-1/4 max HP router with a custom-fit, adjustable hand strap and 2 ball-handle grips. Designed with a low center of gravity on a 6 in. diameter base, this 13-Amp electronic variable-speed router quietly and precisely glides through cuts. This beauty has a soft start-up feature and 36 speed settings (10,000-24,000 RPM) to ably tackle any routing task, made easier by a rubber BodyGrip encircling the base for smooth operation. Built-in circuitry measures load variations and supplies consistent motor speed under changing conditions. This tool is designed and balanced to minimize muscle fatigue whether the operator is a right-hander or a south paw.

Just did some shaker cabinets with this and it has plenty of power. You can hear the electronic speed control kick in to keep RPMs up under heavy load. It’s a workhorse. The knob and lever are in very convenient positions to adjust while mounted under my kreg table. Highly recommended.

This router has all the power one could ask for in a comfortably manageable package. I bought this one to replace the last of my DeWalt tools…..I am a loyal Milwaukee tool purchaser but I am realistic with my reviews. The adjustments on this router are great when attached my table. The grip sleeve provides a unique amount of control when operating the router. I have made moldings (quarter round, ogee seat molding) on my table and mortised hinges on three retro doors using this router so far and no disappointments. I am pleased with this tool.
