The Milwaukee Multi-Base Router Kit with Plunge Base and BodyGrip Fixed Base offers superior design and features for professionals. You can adjust the router’s linear depth at both micro and macro levels within a 0.016 in. You can also adjust the router’s height to be above the table to have easy control of the router.
- Adjustable (in 1/8 in. increments) 6-position metal turret stops for precise, multiple pass routing
- Plunge system with 4-point PM bushing design and constant spring tension to help deliver smooth, non-binding plunge action throughout the plunge range (2-7/8 in.)

Have been very happy with this router combo set. The plunge has a nice smooth / positive feel to it, the depth gauge is accurate and very easily fine tuned, the on / off is exactly where you want it and the low RPM torque is fantastic as ripping through harder wood. If you’re considering this investment, factor in the cost of good quality and well sharpened bits.

I have never been disappointed with a Milwaukee power tool going back at least 20 years and this one delivered as expected. The plunge base operates smoothly and I particularly like the spring-loaded plunge lock lever. It is within easy reach of the thumb, not too stiff to operate, and locks crisply. Unfortunately the same thing cannot be said for the depth stop rod and lock. Setting the rod precisely is difficult because it wobbles around a lot before being locked into place with the locking screw. Lastly, I didn’t realize until after I bought it that it was made in China. One of the reasons I have been so loyal to Milwaukee over the years is that most of their power tools were manufactured (or at least assembled) in the USA. I suspect that I will own a wider variety of brands in the future as “where it is made” no longer factors into the decision as to which to buy.

I have always been a Milwaukee fan and this router set places the bar high. It’s powerful, has adjustable speeds for the bit, comfortable grips, and is durable like all Milwaukee products. The dust collector could be better, obstructs your view and can be cumbersome trying to maneuver it with a hose attatched but thats probably true for any router. When you’re using it on a router table with dedicated dust collection it shouldn’t be an issue. The case is built well, the coarse and fine adjustments for the bit depth are very fluid, and the two different collets included are a perk. Love this router set.

I’m very happy with my new Milwaukee router. The two bases swap out easily and the depth adjustment is both easy and precise with either base. The only minor negative is the case. Not all the parts stay in place.
