it works great and I liked the depth adjustment on it. I purchased it a month ago. It is heavy duty and does a superior job.

This is my third router…and the best yet. It’s light yet powerful, full-featured and well-designed. It handles all I need of a router. I’ve used it freehand, in a router table, and on a slab-flattening sled. Great every time. Easy to switch between fixed base and plunge base. It would have been nice to have a collet shaft lock so only one wrench needed for bit changes, but not a big deal. I highly recommend this tool!

The router bases were easily changed from std to Plunge. The unit has ample power for most routing tasks, and with the 1/4″ and 1/2″ collets I could use all of my existing router bits with this machine.

This router is just the right size to be mounted on a table or handheld. The soft start is a nice feature and the entire thing is robust. Nothing too fancy for sales gimmicks. Just a well built reliable router.

Nice, powerful router. Really like the hand grip and fine tune adjuster. Has about 7/8” more depth adjustment than my Bosch 1617 which I feel is a big bonus. Very happy with it.

Great plunge action. Great motor. The palm grip and fixed base are nice. Compared to other 2 1/4hp routers (Bosch mrc23, DeWalt 618) the soft start is far more abrupt. Also, when compared to the mentioned routers the on/off switch is difficult to reach.I liked the case. It has preformed holes for 1/4 and 1/2 bits as well as the Milwaukee accessories.Overall, a very nice router that ultimately wasnot quite right for me.

Very powerful and well-built router. No issues so far. Quite happy with it. There is an very very slight wobble in the plunge system while it is not locked in place, but once locked, it is sturdy. Does not affect the performance at all. I wasn’t sure about Milwaukee as a brand, since they are not really known for routers as much as Bosch, PC or DeWalt are, but once I started using it, I have been very pleased with it. I have not used the fixed based with the Body Grip yet. The one thing I will mention is that the dust collection attachment only attaches properly if you use the base plates that came with the router. It does not stay in one spot if using one’s own base, as I had to, for my router sled. But dust collection is quite ineffective on a router sled anyway, so its not a big deal. At least it has the optional accessory wit it, unlike most others, which you have to buy it for (except De Walt 618 PK). I also like the fact that the soft start makes it so easy to use it as a handheld router. Shipment was great, and it arrived sooner than expected. Well done, Home Depot and well done, Milwaukee. Thank you both 🙂

The router feels comfortable and easy to handle with the Body Grip. Not nearly as loud as i had anticipated. The motor is easy to switch between bases and all the depth controls are easy to adjust and accurate. I look forward to seeing how it works when mounted in a table. Just another solidly-built tool by Milwaukee. And by the way, I disagree with others’ comments about the case. It protects the tools well and who really cares about the size of cases? I had read and watched a ton of reviews online and was on the fence between this kit and Bosch’s. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this router to all and have no regrets with my purchase.

This router has ample power to do everything I need it to without bogging down. The plunge base is smooth. It’s simple to use and the instructions are straightforward. I recommend this router highly.

This router was recommended by a few YouTube users, and my expectations were not let down. This router is exactly what I wanted in a router, with it’s fixed and plunge bases and few accessories, such a quarter-inch and a half-inch colette, two wrenches, a centering guide and vac-attachment.The unit itself is 5 stars, but the lack of an edge guide or circle-cutter attachment, and also, the vac-attachment does not fit the hose-end of any of my vacs (they’re either too big or too small). This has me now improvising up some adapter for this to work. I shouldn’t need to do this. This makes me give this a 3-star rating for that. I have searched the Internet for this tool, but no one seems to have it in stock… anywhere. I really wish Milwaukee would start including these add-ons with their tools to save future customers these hassles.I can make an edge guide and a circle cutter myself, and I can adapt the vac-hoses to this thing. The quality of the tool, the great case it comes in and the quality of the manufactured parts, the variable speeds, soft-start-up, and well make up for the deficiencies. The case even has storage for router bits of both sizes, so if you only have a few, you can store them in the case for easy access.NOTE!: For those who need to make their own edge guide, you need to find two 9/32″ metal rods at whatever length you like and then, out of wood, make some straight edge guide. You can get plans for this in the internet, but the rod-size I mentioned is important for best fit in this tool.
