Bodygrip feature is great because you don’t have to take one hand off of the router to turn it off. The soft start and EVS make for smoother cuts and better control. The hardshell case is very smartly designed. Great for the shop and job site. Adjusting the router bits quickly and accurately is really easy. Made out of solid materials, feels like a serious piece of machinery. Best router i’ve ever used.

Used them for several months and very satisfied with the results and the machine. Bases are easy to swap, height adjustment easy and accurate. Like the step depth adjustment for the plunge base and the self centering cone to reset the base plate on center. The only negative so far is with the plunge base release. It seems to take excessive thumb pressure to release and is designed for a left thumb operation. Some slight arthritis in my left thumb means that I have to flip it around and hold the handles backwards so I can use my right thumb for release. Unfortunately, the handles are not reversible, which would be a nice feature. Since I only plan to use it in my home shop, the monstrous case will just have to sit somewhere. It would be a good case to take back and forth to a job site, but a good cardboard shipping box would have been enough for me, and probably saved $20 and a bunch of orange plastic. Maybe there should be an option to get it either way.

High quality tool. The problem of slipping of the motor unit in the base was resolved by adjusting the tension on the clamp. Not a problem and easily done.Better quality than Porter-Cable. About the same as Festool. Dust collection is about the same as Festool. More attachments available for the Festool 1400.I found an excellent edge guide (no longer available from Milwaukee) from a guy on-line that makes acryilc bases and edge guides. Very good workmanship. Pat Warner, if you want to see his products.

Really nice router, like the slow ramp up of speed. Easy change out of the bases. If I could change something I would love a light and the on off on the handle.

This router is very well made and, since it comes with both a “fixed” and “plunge” housing, I can leave the fixed housing mounted in the router table and use the plunge housing for free hand routing. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.

Received router and immediately tried to get a guide fence. Milwaukee doesn’t have one and I couldn’t find one that was compatible. So, returned for refund. Disappointed as all my power tools and battery tools are Milwaukee. I really wanted to stay with the Milwaukee lineup.

Used it a few times, the variable speed is very nice, works great, and comes with a case.

Awesome Machine, common for Milwaukee products! only downside case is a little big!

I building furniture from salvaged barn wood and also from a family owned swamp white oak tree. The first job was to mill a straight edge on the ends of a 2.5” white oak slab. The router worked through it like a heavy duty champ and left a wonderfully finished edge that didn’t require much sanding.

I bought the unit as a spare and to use in a router table as it has a T-wrench that allows adjustment form top of the table. If you purchase a offset 1 1/8 inch col-let wrench, it is easy to change bits when mounted to mounted to a table.

Love. all their tools

Having two collets added flexibility to what we needed for small inside trims and well as larger shank bits for big area material removal. Even when the greatest material removal was needed this router moved with ease and control.

I reviewed this router for about two months before purchasing and I must say that I am really happy with it. It is quite powerful and simple to use. It is excellent quality and is quite comfortable in using, with or without the plunge base. The storage case is also very good quality. I look forward to many years of great woodworking projects.
