The Milwaukee Fixed-Base Production Router has a powerful 15 amp, 3-1/2 max hp EVS motor. For a consistent, quality finish when using the tool, you have the ability to precisely match the tool’s RPM to the bit diameter using the 36-position speed dial. For controlled startups and reduced motor wear, the router features a reliable electronic soft start. It also has an exclusive linear height adjustment system with above-the-table access for fast and precise coarse adjustments to within 1/8 in. and 1/64 in. for micro adjustments. Being above the table eliminates the need for awkward, inconvenient adjustments, or an auxiliary router lift.
- Includes a 3-1/2 max hp fixed-base production router, two 1-1/8 in. collet wrenches, 1/2 in. collet, T-handle wrench and 2-1/2 in. sub-base
- Electronic variable speed of 10,000-22,000 RPM
- Premium electronic feedback circuitry that maintains speed and power under load
- Industry-standard bolt-hole pattern and router base diameter, along with removable handles for insert plate clearance
- Readily converts any existing table or production jig setup
- Unique motor contamination shield that keeps damaging debris out without sacrificing airflow
- Durable, rubber shield for dust-free access to the height adjustment system
- UL, CSA and ETL listed
- 5-year limited manufacturer warranty

Just Installed my new Milwaukee 5625l-20 into my new Incra Router lift. The pair are an awesome combination. After a little fine tuning, I can report they perform up and even exceed expectations. I have reduced setup time and production time and increased the accuracy of my cuts. I highly recommend both products. The Home Depot price for the router is the best around!

arrived as expected, Milwaukee is one of the few quality brands anymore, this replaced a not so old Dewalt.

During My first project the power switch failed due to dust build up . I disassembled the unit and cleaned the switch . Since then I find that blowing off the switch often prevents the problem . Switch should be sealed better !

During first day of use, router shut down electronicly. Did not reset as rapidly as operating instructions indicated. 3rd time would not restart Router did not heat up.Was shaping popular wood. Evidently electronic controls are a weak point.

Installed it in a benchdog pro router table, first job was 30 feet of rail and stile cutting.keeps constant speed , very soft start just the best I have used. I have 4 other routers 1 is a 3 horse and doesn’t compare to Milwaukee 5625-20This has through the table adjust , another plus

The best router I’ve owned over the last 30 years. I just wore out a 30 year old fixed based router recently. My next router will again be a fixed base for hand held use in my shop for cutting dovetails. Thanks Milwaukee..

I mounted the Milwaukee 3.5 Hp motor to an Incra Master-Lift-II and have used it to swing a 3-1/2 inch raised panel bit. It cut the cherry panel with ease. I chose the Milwaukee over its main competitor (PC) due to its lower noise level. The motor is smooth and appears extremely well built. The variable speed control works great. I have not used the depth adjustment built into the Milwaukee because it is mounted on an Incra Lift so I cant comment on it. This is a very heavy router made for production. For occasional hand routing jobs it might be a bit much, but it is outstanding for table use. It puts a smile on my face every time I use it!

Item permanently attached to a router table with a Incra lift. Will be used as both a shaper and router. Couldn’t ask for a better tool for this application.

I have this router dedicated to a router table with a router lift. I haven’t put much time on it yet, but so far this is an excellent router. The soft start work smoothly and the variable speed works as expected. This router is much quieter than my much older and less powerful Porter Cable 690.

I own a professional cabinet shop and have used several other routers including dewalt and porter cable in the past. I have found this Milwaukee router to bee the best that I have ever seen. It simply works. It does not come with a 1/4″ collet because it was not ment for light duty work.1/4″ collet’s can be easily purchased either from Home Depot or straight from Millwauke. I plan too purchase another one to replace my old shaper. Millwaukee is a first class manufacture all the way.

Milwaukee products are some of the best tools I’ve used. This router was made for bigger stock so the fact that a 1/4 inch collet was not included was no big surprise to me.

Cutting raised panels in a table I did experience one shut down, but I attribute that to impatience and not stepping my cuts properly. Overall, I love the thing

Just wished it came with a 1/4” collet. Great tool

Looking for a powerfull router to route cabinet doors and interior doors. Router handles all the bits with no bog down that causes wood to burn. Easy to adjust.
