The clamping system was easy to use and held the paper firmly in place. The dust collector kept falling off but was easily fixed with a small screw. Operation was ideal.

Comfortable grip and ease of operation. Can’t complain too much on this unit. This corded one is light compared to the battery version. The added weight of the battery version make it task on a long sanding job. Being corded insured a constant feed of juice to power the unit. The filter cartage looks great but it’s of min help. Shop vac adapter was the best to keep the dust down. For its price, it is worth it…

Overall the sander is phenomenon! But the dust box is horrible !!! Will not stay on, I even tried the electrical tape trick that someone suggested on this review. It did not stay on. The sander it’s self I would give 5 stars. Dust box not even a 1 star, that one needs to be redesigned.

I used it for sanding a chest of drawers this week. It was the first time I’ve used it. Worked really well, just alike all my other Milwaukee tools. I like how the clamps work that hold the sandpaper in place, compared to my other sanders over the years. Removing and adding sandpaper is a snap!

Love the sander. Lots of power, does the job, holds the paper well. But the dust collector connection is under-engineered. The little plastic tab isn’t strong enough to hold it in place. Every time I turn it on, the vibrations push the dust collector out immediately. Not sure how to fix it, but it needs to be beefed up so it holds.

I loved that it has a press plate to use other sand papers and not just Milwaukee ones. After using it for three days straight on various projects it held up amazingly.
