The Milwaukee 5 in. Random Orbit Sander features variable speeds of 7000-12,000 OPM, so you can match the speed to the application. Its 3 Amp permanent magnet motor produces dependable speed and power. Use this sander to achieve a fine, swirl-free finish on anything on which you’re working. For maximum compatibility the universal hose adaptor allows for connections from all vacuum hose sizes. The plastic dust canister with filter provides efficient dust collection and increased durability.

Great sander for the uses we needed! It only comes with one sander grit so be aware you’ll have to buy different grits if you need them.

Overall great product. I have used similar products in the past and I would say this is the best so far. I have great faith in the Milwaukee tool brand and now that I am building an arsenal of my own, they’re first. Only flaw is a slightly loose connection for the vacuum hose connector.

My old orbital took a fall and broke the switch I got tired of plugging in and out to operate. This sander is great. Very low vibration, can sand for hours and no tingles in the hand. Dust what dust, this think almost all of it. It comes with a vacuum attachment. 1-1/4 or 2 Hose Adapter. Milwaukee has made another great tool and that why I buy their products. Comes with a nice carry bag. I read some reviews the velcro wasn’t very good, but I have had no problems even putting on old sanding disc stick on very well.

We sand and finish hardwood floors . I have a crew of 6 and we re really hard on palm sanders . I’ve used about every name brand and the Millwalkee holds its own on durability and lasting for long periods of sanding . The hook and loop pads are cheap on all of palm sanders . you have to keep putting replacement pads on them . The plastic dust collection box is a bad design but i use dust collection and a 1 /1/2′ hose fits right on the round adapter supplied in the kit . works perfect . The machine sands good .

Works great! I especially like the sawdust collection box! It makes he clean up after sanding so much easier! Sander also is much quieter than my last one ( a Black and Decker sander).
