Spiral bevel gears transfer maximum torque for heavy duty jobs. Spring loaded recessed spindle lock assists in easy accessory changes. Sold as a sander, this tool can be converted to a grinder by purchasing a 7 in. or a 9 in. guard which is easily attached to the tool. Really powerful grinder when combined with the right pads and discs. Used for grinding down some concrete edges with no issues. Very low vibration for the size and weight, my angle grinder has more at half the size. Still you need a steady hand to use this, it’s not light, and really you need to be angling the tool to get proper grinding. If you flatten out, you slow the velocity, and make a mess.
