It’s solid and the kind of quality you would expect from Milwaukee-however, the specifications stated here says it is variable speed and it is not. I bought it for this feature and had to return it.

Milwaukee is known to be for commercial use. I contacted the company and asked them why there were not marketing to the homeowner? Their answer, we specialize in the commercial market. Well I am here to tell you if you are a homeowner handyman, buy this instead of a cheaper model. The cheaper model is cheaper because it is inferior. The specs on this tool specify 5 inch but I have used Milwaukee grinders consistently for hours under heavy use with a 7 inch sanding disc and it never once overheated or bogged down. You really get more use with this tool when you take off the grinding disc and instead install a sanding disc. The sanding disc is flexible and is SUPER FAST and removing flaking paint for example.
