I had to demo my tile bathroom wall. I didn’t have the option of breaking it up and removing it because someone had previously sprayed it with resin sealer. I at first tried to remove it with an old 4 amp Ryobi and it would get too hot. I went and bought a 7.5 amp Ryobi and burned it ought. If you have a tough job to do, don’t mess around, get this. It cut through the skin, tile and hardy board all at once pretty easy. It bogged once and awhile probably because of the angle of the blade wasn’t square to the wall (me) and was dull. But this thing is nice. I looked at the comprable Dewalt ( 3 yr. warranty Milwuakee 5 yr. )and it was way bulkier. This one is easy to hold and well balanced same amps. Also note there is one model of this Milwuakee that has the locking paddle but doesn’t have the overload and electronic clutch features, which if they work is a big plus. All in all I think a solid buy.

I purchased this grinder (and a few Diablo masonry cutting discs) to remove the overhang lip on 40 landscape retaining wall stones I used to construct a fire pit. The tool is awesome! The 8 lb weight seemed a bit scary at first but it allowed the tool to do all the work while I just hung on for the ride. Operation is flawless – just like the two 36 year old Milwaukee circular saws I vow to never part with. Thanks Milwaukee for another fine product!!!
