A little more work than a larger one, but for the price how can you go wrong, Have already use it numerous times in the garage and I keep finding projects to use it on. I highly recommend this for the handyman in and around the house. A must have for the DIYer.

I have been in need of a new angle grinder for some time and this one from Milwaukee doesn’t disappoint. I switch back and forth between grinding and cutting discs for a multitude of tasks. Mostly I am sharpening digging equipment or mower blades with it but I find myself cutting concrete or blocks a couple of times a year. This motor was able to power through a slab cut for installation of a new footing without bogging down once. The air intake for the motor is designed in a way to keep excessive dust and particles out which should make this tool last for years to come. My two favorite parts are the tool-free accessory change and the tool-free guard adjustability. Being able to change out a dull blade or grinder disc without having to find the tool is beyond helpful as I have little helpers that like to move such things for me and then don’t put them back. On my old grinder I had to remove the wheel to adjust the guard and for that reason sometimes I would use it without one as I would end up spending more time at that task than actual work. With this tool that won’t be a problem. There is a little tab to push that allows you to spin the guard to the desired position and release, no more fussing with wrenches and screw drivers. The old tool will now be relegated to the back of the pile as a backup but I’m pretty sure I won’t be needing it anytime soon.

This product is powerful, lightweight, user friendly and easy to use along with being one little powerhouse. The soft start feature is nice, it won’t twist out of your hand on startup. The handle fits nicely in your hand and can be installed for either left or right hands. The safety lock is a great feature especially on a tool with this much power. Perfect size to cut off nails. Cuts and shapes through metal with ease. Works well at removing old paint or rust from cement or metal. This product is very substantial, well made and has a nice design. Great tool!

Well, it’s not so little but it definitely Can! It’s a great value with great quality. The handle is ambidextrous, you have it mounted either on the right or left side, the guard is easily adjustable; just press the tab and rotate to different position with little effort and with the comfort of a secure mount. You also have a nice large trigger that you can grip with your whole hand. In the end, all the great features are useless if the tool does not perform, and this grinder performs great. I’ve used it to grind metal, cut angle iron as well as rebar and it just goes right through without a hint of lack of power. Definitely a good buy, good enough for the home and I would say strong enough for a shop as well!

I have been perfecting the technique of using a grinder to cut holes in porcelain tile with a diamond blade, and this Milwaukee 11 Amp Corded 4-1/2 in. Small Angle Grinder Paddle No-lock is perfect for that job. It is light-weight and easy to handle. In years past, I always tried to place tiles so that any outlet or switch holes were at the edges of a tile, so I could cut them with a wet-saw. I saw a DIY video showing how to cut such holes in tile with a grinder using a diamond blade. The first few times I tried it, I broke tiles, but learned that if you place the tile onto a piece of sacrificial wood, to absorb vibration, and are careful to hold the grinder steady and straight, you can consistently cut perfect holes in tile this way. I haven’t had a chance to use this grinder for actual grinding yet, but I see no reason why it wouldn’t also be great for that too. As a tile cutter, it is a great little tool! I love Milwaukee tools anyway, and they generally outlast any other brand I have ever owned! Thanks Milwaukee, and Home Depot!

The grip is comfortable when grinding for long periods, the grinder is powerful and has been abused/dropped with no issues.The power cord is nice and long.Certain grinding wheels that screw directly to the the arbor stick past the guard.

This little grinder oozes quality. The tool looks well made, it feels solid and it is a nice, manageable, weight. Even the power cord is heavy duty. The tool will take a large variety of 4 ½” diameter discs for cutting and grinding different materials. There is a short video with this review that shows the tool being used to grind cinder block and cut steel.The disc guard is adjustable so it can be positioned in the most effective place to best protect the user. The support handle attaches to either side of the tool for left or right handed users. There is a small safety lock on the paddle trigger which engages automatically when the paddle is released.In use the tool does a good job and I recommend considering this grinder / cutter if you are looking to purchase.

This is a great grinder for grinding various items. Just change the grinding head and you can polish things also.It is not extremely heavy. The side mount handle makes it easy to maneuver over the material, just a swivel at the waist and you can cover a large area without grinding in one spot.It does not come with a grinding wheel (size 4 1/2 type 27 with 5/8 inch arbor).

This is another quality tool from Milwaukee. What I really like about this tool is the power and the easy of use. The blade changes and cover guard can be changed or taken off without the use of any tools other than your hands. This is a great time saver when doing projects that require doing grinding or sanding with different pads. This tools feels great in your hands and the hand piece can be moved to either side of the tool. The paddle to turn the tool on and off is in a good ergo position for those long grinding or sanding jobs. This tool is made of quality materials and should last a lifetime. Be aware that this tool does not come with the grinding or sanding disc so be sure to pick those up at Home Depot before you leave. Thank you Milwaukee again for thinking about how this tool will be used and designing it user friendly.
