This angle grinder had plenty of power for me. I used this to cut an antique iron fence to fit my space. It certainly made the job easier and cut through the metal quickly. The video I posted was cutting rebar. I wan’t pushing it hard was mostly trying to show the operation. I had a lot of trouble assembling the guard the first time. Not sure what I was doing wrong but I couldn’t get the guard to rotate to the different positions. Once I got it installed properly, it works fine. You can adjust the guard position without a tool. The grinder has a comfortable handle.

I used this for sharpening the lawnmower blades on the first task. I found the control to be excellent, helping keep the blades balanced by not shaving off more or less in certain areas. I was very pleased with the results. I locked the switch and it was easy to disengage when ready. I did not have problems with accidental disengage as with some switches. The power, size were good, and the weight was what I would expect. The weight in this case is quality speaking to you. It is very tough and rugged.I also used it with a small concrete grinder wheel to shave down a small lip on a sidewalk. Obviously the wheel must be good which it was, and the grinder handle the task easily. Normally I’d use a larger grinder for this task, but wanted to give this a good test. It passed with flying colors. The body was good and warm when done – but by no means hot. Once again I would normally use a larger grinder for this task, and I did not push the grinder hard, but it did get the job done. All always proper PPE was used from safety glasses, to ear protection and leather gloves.

I love this grinder it always has a cutting wheel on it and it just flies through the metal. Also is an extremely smooth running machine, also it’s smaller then most grinders in this size category and it just feels great for me. Great product thank you Milwaukee!!!

I love this grinder. I like having tools of various sizes and the 6″ is a perfect intermediary size between the large 7/9″ grinders and the small 4.5″. The 13A motor coupled with the 9000rpm speed means you get fast stock removal with power behind it. The switch works fine and the body feels god in my hands and the handle, though I hardly use one, provides a firm grip when used. An excellent overall grinder that is not too heavy but powerful enough and can cut deeper and more quickly than smaller grinders. Milwaukee does it again and again with their high quality and awesome designs.

With this grinder rated at 13 Amps, there is more than enough power to handle most tasks requiring an angle grinder.Unboxing and assembly is quick and easy.Using this grinder was a pleasure. The unique soft start is always comforting, rather than a tool jumping once you hit the start button. The 9000 RPM’s make short work of most grinding.Using the included side handle provides an additional degree of security when grinding.Having the Milwaukee reputation for quality construction and a long 5-year warranty, this grinder will provide you with many years of reliable use.Very pleased with this grinder, and Highly Recommended.

The gaurd should be open on the bottom. Cutting off bolts close to flush with the surface is nearly impossible.
