The Job Site Armor Technology is made of a proprietary composite material and has crush zone barriers that provide long-lasting rugged protection. The all metal direct drive gearing system delivers maximum tool life, while requiring less servicing than a chain drive. In addition, a gear protecting clutch extends gear and motor life by absorbing high impact forces caused by blade lock-ups. Started writing a long review. Then found the guidelines. So…get one of the good blades 10 14 teeth. Slow it down for steel. Slowest you got. Let it chug through. Once you brace stock against the lower guard just let it do its thing. Anything else get a good blade. Very easy to use. I like the light right where im sawing. Lets me track guidelines accurately. The quickchange blade arm lever makes it very easy to swap. Always always always use gloves when changing blades. Way cleaner cuts than an abrasive chop saw and no sparky fire risk streams of death flying around.

I have been contemplating buying the Milwaukee Deep Cut Band Saw for over a year. I was considering buying a cheaper brand for half the price. But this saw is built with more than double the quality that cheaper brands. It is worth buying quality especially if you are going to be doing a lot of metal cutting.

The saw is excellent and met all expectations But I did not know it did not come with at least one blade When I arrived st the job site I discovered that no blade was included I had to make a special trip to purchase a box of blades to complete the project

Very nice saw, perfect for cutting flat bar, angle, channel, pipe/tube. Cuts are very clean with minimal burrs and small kerf. If you’re tired of using an angle grinder and death wheel to cut stock then look no further. Pair this with a Portaband table 4.0 from Swag Offroad and you have a mini vertical bandsaw. Would 100% recommend to anyone for their metal cutting needs.
