I can’t give this saw more than three stars, as of yet. It is a replacement for pretty much the same saw. It is 13 amp compared to my Milwaukee 11 amp which I had for about 17 years or so. The older one was not used a great deal so I was a bit disappointed when the gears crapped out. The new one has a cord which is permanently attached. Not sure if this is any better. The saw is very powerful and easy to use. The one drawback is that Milwaukee decided to put this same size saw in a smaller transport case, making it difficult for users to have extras onboard like safety glasses and some extra blades. Glad I kept my old case because the saw fits in it perfectly and the new case sits on the shelf empty.

Haven’t had a chance to use this much, but the initial opinion is very positive. I debated between a corded tool vs. cordless. Corded made the most sense for me.Pros: lots of power, orbital cutting is great, adjustable foot allows to vary depth of cut/blade positionCon: tool is heavy.

This saw is a beast! I bought it for around the house work and I couldn’t be happier. It cuts through anything I put in its path and it seems to have plenty of power to spare. Milwaukee’s keyless chuck is robust and has never failed to release – leading to effortless blade changes. I’d definitely recommend this saw to anybody who’s looking for a great saw-zall.
