I would have been happy with it if it had the same features as the old one, but the new one… a blade that oscillates, the rotating handle and the quick insert blade holder make this really amazing… Great design! So far .. great. Have used this sawzall on a few projects so far, and it has performed well. I am very pleased with the purchase to date. Have not had it long enough to speak to its long-term durability, but seems to be well made. Lots of power, great for rough cuts through wood. Have not yet used it to cut metal or PVC.

Saw cuts everything I’ve thrown at it easily- tree limbs, bolts, nails, lumber. It’s worth every penny to have the high amperage. Blades change out easily if you pull the blade/ chuck out as far as possible. Make sure tool is not plugged in!

Have had this super sawzall for several years now, don’t use it daily, but use it a lot, and a lot on metal and metal pipe, with the correct blades, works great!Unfortunately, it stopped working, plug it in, pull the trigger, nothing. I have had this tool for years, really love it, hoping I can get it repaired, I expect Milwaukee to be in the same classification as DeWalt, SnapOn, Craftsman, in other words, a lifetime tool, so am a **little** disappointed in the longevity at this time, but understand that electric tools do have a life span. Will try contacting a service center to see if they can repair it for a reasonable cost.
