I should have gotten one sooner. Milwaukee did a great job engineering this drywall screwdriver to maximize its effectiveness. Before I was always using the dimpler bits on a drill but this is so much more civilized. I do a lot of remodel work, often drywall and not usually whole buildings or commercial drywall, so corded is fine for my occasional use. It is easy to hold the trigger and insert a screw and just push it into place with the depth adjustment. The clip makes it even easier to hang and use both hands to lift wallboard. Honestly, even if you have only one project this drywall screwdriver makes all the difference.

Milwaukee does it again!! zip zip zip!!! This makes hanging drywall a snap!! Tons of speed and torque. Does not get hot after hours of use, I love it!! If i could change anything at all i would opt for a cordless version but then of course you have to stop to change batteries. Nice and durable, the casing is ergonomical, it is not too heavy, the cord is very durable too. All in all a great buy, you cannot go wrong.

I wish I had bought this sooner. Once I got the hang of it, it sets the screws quickly and just below the surface. I still use my cordless for angled setting of screws, and harder to reach spots. It is also much easier on my arm.

I bought this drill a few days ago becasue I returned a so-called “Great Brand” drywall drill because it had lots of problems, and all i have to say is wow!! The cord is a nice 10′ which gives you lots to play with, and the drill is just incredible!

Milwaukee is quality. This drywall screwdriver works really well, it can also be used to countersink screws in wood. I was worried when I first plugged it in because it didn’t run when I pulled trigger. I found out quickly that it doesn’t run until screw is in contact with drywall or wood. It is corded so you don’t have to worry about battery dying on you. Cord can be cumbersome at times though. Works great.

I received the Milwaukee Drywall Screwdriver to test for Home Depot and I really am glad. I am only a DIYer, but this is a great addition to anyone’s tool arsenal! I am not doing any projects at the time, but I used it for a while using some scraps that I had around, The screw gun is very powerful and for all of that power it is still very light weight. You could use this all day and not have any issues.

I got this into the perfect storm of drywall in three rooms, putting guiding rails and drywall hangers into a concrete wall and some shelving that I quickly put together. I thought that this tool would just burn out, but for hours and hours it just took whatever I hit it with. Nut or plain wood, it didn’t care, it didn’t hesitate for a second, it felt like it packs twice the punch of a normal driver, but at the same time having this smooth start that makes it really easy on the wrists and on the screwhead. The customize-able depth was really what sets it apart from other solutions and having a 110v wired motor may seem not very important, but in reality it is because you’re not dealing with a heavy battery and at the same time more material is put into the motor making it lighter, yet stronger. I didn’t feel the discomfort from the cable as opposed to a cordless driver, I actually prefer the corded for the stated reasons – being lighter and stronger. Reversible and lightweight, abs plastic reinforced with fiberglass all around really make it a top quality screwdriver that is ready to take on whatever you throw at it. It drove 2 inch screws into cinder wall like it was nothing. With my cordless one I would’ve struggled for three times the time.It shows someone made a really good design and manufacturing for a top quality product intended to be the workhorse of the home building industry.
