Or maybe I should just read the manual, haha! Must apply pressure to engage clutch, which sometimes requires a third hand.I haven’t used it with the depth control yet, which is the main reason that I got it.

I needed this to sheet rock a addition I was doing and it made short work at setting the screws to the exact depth so the mud covers them perfect. It is not to heavy and it feels very comfortable in your hands which is a good thing since you have this in your hand all day hanging sheet rock.
