Its a nice saw, mechanically it works great, real accurate. The angle meter didn’t work on the first one or the second one, sent the 2nd one back. I like the saw so I will keep it, just have to send it into Milwaukee tool repair to fix the display.

I own a high end wood working business and depend on quality tools, and although miter saws are not an integral part of my business, there are times when nothing else will work quite as well. I own a 10 inch Bosch sliding compound saw as well that doesn’t provide nearly the quality cuts this Milwaukee tool does. This is simply an excellent miter saw. Accuracy is straight on, easy to use and fence is solid. There is negligible arbor movement which is most important in a 12 inch blade. When making cuts there is a laser beam and an overhead light for visibility, both nice features. I especially like the LED read out that allows pin point degree measurements. Compliments to the Milwaukee tool engineering dept.

In all this is a good quality saw that has some nice features. The lights, digital miter readout, and a soft start motor are great. It’s also solid and well built. That said it also has it’s flaws. The old school undermount rails are reasonably smooth, but as with all undermounts when you push the head of the saw in , you are basically pushing at an angle which tends to introduce unwanted error. This is one of the reasons most rails these days are mounted higher up. The upward facing miter detents tend to collect sawdust, and if you are not very diligent about cleaning them, they can easily throw your cuts off by half a degree or more. Curiously the miter table sits slightly lower than the rest of the table, and when cutting thin delicate pieces this can cause unwanted tearout and even a slight bevel on the cut end. This is a great saw for framing, decking, or something similar, where durability is more important than precision, but I can’t recommend it for high end finish work or cabinet making

This is the best miter saw in the market! It’s powerful, accurate, and very heavy duty. I like the digital read-out and light – it makes it easier to work with.

This is a very well made saw like you would expect from Milwaukee. It does the job very well and has no problems with cutting through almost anything. The lights make working in a dark area great because they do light up the entire area under the saw blade. You can see very well what you are doing. There are a few things that I do not like about the saw and would like to see Milwaukee add to this saw. One is that it is very heavy. I think they said it was 75 pounds and Milwaukee was not joking about the weight. It is every bit of what they say. This may not be the saw you want to get if you have to move it several times or even once a day. Second is the right fence does not slide. The left does but the right does not, can only be removed. I don’t see a reason for this. Third is the saw does not come with a laser guide for the blade. The lights that are included in the saw are great and you can see very well what you are doing. I have not had problem making accurate cuts, but an added laser guide would be outstanding.Over all I am very happy with this saw. I would buy it again without even thinking about it. Seams to me that you are getting your moneys worth with this saw compared to what the other saws like this one cost.

So far it is a wonderful saw ! It has all good features & is easy to use ! I bought a stand with it & the stand is not easy to use at all ! love the saw but the stand is questionable ! needs new design !

My son used my first one to remodel his kitchen and liked it very much. Good quality tools make a difference. When I was young I couldn’t cut a straight line…. I found out… It wasn’t me.

I dont know how the other Milwaukee Miter saws are but from the few times i was able to ise thos one, i can truely say its amazing. The cuts are so clean and smooth. The slider and settings are top of thr line.

The saw is working well. It will not cut a 6″x6″ due to the blade guard. The stand itself is very low quality and is not designed for a trade person. I am seriously disappointed in the stand. The stand can’t support a 6″x6″ or 2″x12″ more than 8′ (it becomes unstable). The stands adjustable feet are made of cheap plastic that do not keep the saw stable.

Although I haven’t used it to it’s full capabilities it is everything that I have wanted in a compound miter saw. It’s actions are smooth and what I expected from a quality tool. Milwaukee has engineered some great tools and I have been moving from lower quality tools towards them for years. Great!

This is the best chop saw on the market!

Saw was delivered quickly with no damage. The miter and bevel were spot-on accurate right out of the box. The digital miter reading seems like a nice touch. The slide and carriage assembly is smooth with no noticeable flex.
