The Milwaukee 1-3/4 in. Coil Roofing Nailer features an ultra-lightweight magnesium housing to minimize fatigue. Its compact size offers greater maneuverability. The Load-N-Go magazine holds 120 galvanized wire collated Nails from 3/4 in. to 1-3/4 in. length and 0.120 in. Dia. A magnet holds the Nails in place making loading fast and efficient. The thick rubber guards minimize housing damage. The tool-free depth of drive protects from overdriving Nails. The adjustable air deflector with muffler directs exhaust away from the work area and holds down the noise. The textured selectable trigger lets you move from sequential or contact actuation by simply turning a knob. A removable shingle guide assists in quick shingle alignment.
- Tool free depth adjustment
- Maximum bumper protection
- Selectable trigger settings
- Self-cleaning air filter

Works good overall except with the 3/4 nails gets stuck, the other size works good.

Wonderful product. The boys at Milwaukee were not playing when they designed this bad boy. This is a great buy!

The nailer comes well packaged and with a little pot of oil to add daily after use. The instructions are largely helpful but assume some level of familiarity with roofing nailers. As a result, I was struggling to find how the gauge is used to ensure correct shingle placement and how the trigger setting is used (and what difference the settings makes)The gun itself is easy to use, very resilient (we did drop it off the roof twice), and easy to clean. However, the white ‘Milwaukee’ writing did come off a bit with the carb cleaner I used to remove the tar from the gun. The gun is easy to load and the nail-depth is easy to adjust. The gun has rubber pads on it to help reduce the slip on the roof, but the pitch of our roof was quite steep and the gun did move if the airline dangled off the roof line itself.I own a lot of Milwaukee tools and this is par to their usual standard. I would definitely have preferred an M18 version of this gun, as the airline was annoying at times, but the gun was well priced and (from what little experience I have) well able to cope with all of the usual roofing demands. The final nail on the coil does have a habit of falling out if you do not use it on the shingle and put the gun down to place a new shingle. However, nails are cheap and it’s not really a big issue. Once again, Milwaukee products rock.

Best roofing nailer I’ve ever used. Smooth and light weight. No jams or double fires.

I recently bought a Milwaukee framing nailer. It was so impressive, I chose to buy this roofing nailer. I put a roof on my house (1500 square feet) using only this nailer. It is lightweight, fast and reliable. I won’t buy any other tools other than Milwaukee.

Milwaukee is known for the quality products that they sell and this nailer is a perfect example. It has a range of 3/4 to 1 3/4 inch in length and .120 in diameter. Nail depth is easy to adjust and the gun is well protected with thick rubber guards in well placed areas of the gun. As of yet, I have had no misfirings and it is easy to load. The gun is also lighter than most other types in its category so it helps reduce fatigue.

Superb functionality. Works perfect. Doesn’t jam. Doesn’t misfire. I just did a 23 square roof replacement. The only con I came across which really isn’t negative but more of a personal preference is it will dry fire when the coil is empty.

Ready to use right out of the box. Quieter than I was expecting which is a huge plus. It never jammed and is right at home with my van and trailer full of Milwaukee tools.

Only used it on one Hardie job. Did very well.

Roofed about 100 square feet as a repair to get through the winter. I liked the light weight of the gun. It had no issues. I will roof 1400 square feet next year. That will be the real test. I have rented roofing nail guns several times and have never had issues with any gun.

This Milwaukee pneumatic 1-3/4″ Coil Roofing Nailer comes with the quality of the brand but also is a very small/light weight (about 5.4 lbs) size. This works well for a long day of roofing and holds up well for many jobs. It is easy to load taking standard 15 angle coil nails sizes 3/4-1 3/4. This nail gun has a number of helpful features including a self cleaning filter, adjustable air deflector with muffler, and a tool free depth adjustment. This is a great tool for the Pro or handyman who does roof repair. It comes with a nice carry bag too!
