The Milwaukee 1-3/4 in. Coil Roofing Nailer features an ultra-lightweight magnesium housing to minimize fatigue. Its compact size offers greater maneuverability. The Load-N-Go magazine holds 120 galvanized wire collated Nails from 3/4 in. to 1-3/4 in. length and 0.120 in. Dia. A magnet holds the Nails in place making loading fast and efficient. The thick rubber guards minimize housing damage. The tool-free depth of drive protects from overdriving Nails. The adjustable air deflector with muffler directs exhaust away from the work area and holds down the noise. The textured selectable trigger lets you move from sequential or contact actuation by simply turning a knob. A removable shingle guide assists in quick shingle alignment.

I received the nail gun a few days ago and I got a chance to use it today. I went to home depot and bought a coil of roofing nails ( I got 7,200 pack for about $22.00) loaded up the nail gun and proceeded to repair a out building roof.well the Milwaukee nail gun is a lot lighter than other nail guns I have used in the past. I also hooked it up to my smallest compressor and it worked fine.I recommend this this for a light weight and compact nail gun at a affordable price..

The last time I did some roofing repair on my garage I swore I would not do it ever again. I have changed my mind. Not having to hold down shingles and try to hold a nail in place with one hand while hammering makes roofing much easier. This makes putting shingles on feel like magic.The gun has a solid feel and when loaded with a full coil is fairly balanced. it gets a bit head heavy when close to empty but that just helps you to know you are close to running out with out looking at the gun. The coils load easily and checking the remaining nails is a simple glance. My only suggestion is make sure you have enough hose to reach everywhere you need before you get up on the roof.

I received this to test for Home Depot and it works great! I am not a roofer but this made replacing the roof on my shed a breeze! I admit that I did a trial run on some scrap lumber as I have never used a roofing nailer before and this things makes it extremely easy and very fast. I was able to lay out quite a large area and then nail down. This is a winner!!
