This is hands down one of the best box levels Ive used. Its very rugged and designed with the user in mind. The sight glass is excellent to see and easy to read. The magnets are very strong and the levels are perfectly straight. Both of them are easy to use and keep clean with a nice red finish. I would have love if these levels came with a carrying case/sleeve to protect it. Overall I can pretty much say these two levels are the last levels ill need to buy as they quality is excellent !

I have a 4ft & numerous 2 foot levels, however NON of them are the quality of this set! The vials are HUGE & easy to see & read. AT 72 inches I was finally able to square up a door on an outbuilding that was off just enough to bind the locks. Hanging another prehund door will be child’s play next time. I also like the heft of the levels. They are easy to maneuver & stay put. Also very good to help lay out a foundation on another outbuilding, I was able to span more that 5 joists which helped in building a sturdy hefty foundation & floor. Wish I had gotten these 1st!

I was so excited when these levels finally showed up. They took a little longer than I had hoped to get here so the anticipation was even greater. They do not disappoint. They are beautiful…true works of art. The images that I posted don’t do them justice. They are genuine high quality in construction, accuracy, and finish. They have top of the line vials that are very easy to read and very accurate (I have several tools to check for accuracy and they passed every test. For comparison, I was in a hardware store the other day and, just by using the levels they had on the shelf, I did a simple accuracy test…I was saddened by how far off they were).This set came in a package of two, a 24″ and a 48″ box beam level. The frames have a backbone core to resist warping and they are painted a bright “Milwaukee Red”. They look and feel like they are powder coated, but after a very small bit of research online I cannot confirm it. On the top and bottom they have a swirl pattern etched in the aluminum that is not only beautiful (they have a luminescent sheen to them), but also functional making them less likely to slide. The vials made of high-impact polymer acrylic to make them extremely resistant to shattering and are enclosed in white frames making them easier to read. They also have removable, slip resistant, high density rubber end caps.I have been looking for a really good set of levels that look good and are dead-on accurate and I am happy to say I have found them in these Milwaukee Redsticks. With the lifetime accuracy guarantee I don’t see how I can go wrong.

This level is high quality, easily readable, and appears it can take a beating. As far as traditional levels go, this is them perfected. At this price range, digital levels that do some very useful calculations are available though durability does take a hit. Under a controlled environment where it won’t get much abuse, digital levels provide very useful feedback like how many millimeters per meter the box level is angled. Obviously that is overkill for a lot of a jobs and I’d never toss one in a pile of rocks so traditional levels do still have their place.

I’m so glad this came in a set. There are often many times where you get a level and the larger one won’t work with smaller art work, and then the smaller one won’t work when trying to go from art work to art work, to ensure everything is level! Also, there are a lot of ways to hang this up in your garage if you have a hang system. Highly recommed this box level set!

I really like the bubble view. Its very clear and large. If i had to say something against it, it would be the paint wants to come off on finished surfaces. Also i should have got one with hamdles

These levels are extremely heavy duty, and will hold up to any construction area you can throw at it. The are a bit pricey, but made very well. The vials are large and really easy to see, even if you don’t have the best sight, or maybe in a dimly lit room. I also love the molded metal top and bottom. The feel somewhat like a metal file, but really add some gripping strength when trying to level. Its very nice know that my level will not slide around. The removal end caps are also an extra bonus. I have been in situations where I had to buy a new level while framing lust because the one I was using was an inch to long. The Milwaukee actually lets you remove each end cap to give you an extra 1″ clearance if needed. All in all, these levels are solid, accurate and have a great warranty. I 100% recommend.

I like how durable these levels are, and how much reinforcement is in the frame. The picture on the label shows a cutaway view exposing its rigid yet light, backbone. Yes, I’ll admit these may be a little heavier than the average level, but I’ll sacrifice lightweight for sturdiness any day. The vials are very large and easy to read. I guess they put a lot of engineering thought into these, since they are made in the USA as well. They are, of course, accurate (otherwise it would have no purpose). There is a lifetime accuracy guarantee which is .029 degrees at .0005 in/in or .5 mm/M. The “amplified rare earth magnets” are quite strong as well, and hold onto any magnetic surface with no problems. These are currently stored on the side of a toolbox (which saves a little space as well as being out of harms way). If you don’t have anything metal to latch onto, then there are hollow rings for hanging wherever you please. It’s nice that Milwaukee produces these sets in a variety of lengths, so you can choose the appropriate one for your specific purposes.

Awesome levels. Not bad for the price. Strong magnets. Better than any in store stock levels. Worth the few days to order. Home Depot would sell tons more Milwaukee tools if they stocked even more of them, at least the common tools.

Job site conditions vary greatly, and no matter how much you try to take care of the tools that help you earn your living, accidents are going to happen. These RedStick levels, with features like their all-metal reinforced backbone, can handle the abuse. Both the machining and the overall fit and finish of these is excellent. Accurate to 0.0005″ per inch – the industry standard for levels of this caliber – mine are absolutely dead on, as they should be. With my aging eyes, the oversized magnified bubble is really appreciated, and the high-contrast vials really help in low light conditions.
