Feels like a very solid level. I am surprised that there was not a way to measure on the side of the level.

This is an incredibly high quality level, but it comes at a very high price. Milwaukee states that the level is accurate to within 0.0005″ (which equates to 0.029deg). I measured the width of the level at various points with digital calipers and found mine to be accurate to within 0.0010″. The average width was 2.5410″. For any application where a bubble level would be the proper tool, that is certainley more accurate than needed. The weight of the tool was almost two pounds! Mine weighed in at 1 lb 15.7 oz. The bubbles are large and very easy to see. From a quality standpoint its an incredible tool. However, its more than twice the price of the blue one. For a DIYer, its probably not worth the upgrade. For a contractor, the extra durability might be worth the money. Especially since its guaranteed for life.

Love how compact the level is. Little disappointed at how easy the end caps come off. The rubber bumpers on the side are great for helping grip on drywall as well as not marking it up. I do miss the handles a bit.

Very well made level, it is comparable to Johnson and Fatmax. the 24 inch size is great for home owners and contractors alike, depending on your job it is a great all around size. I found the machined surface to be well manufactured and true. I was a machinist in a prior life and know that is important. I like the non magnetic version as it is suitable for most jobs and doesn’t pick up any metal along the way while being stored. Milwaukee has made a nice product.

I needed a long level to install a new 8 foot entry door. I had a couple older 6 foot levels but didn’t trust them after being knocked around for years. The Redstick Compact level fit the bill perfectly. Unlike my older levels, this level has a smaller profile meaning it’s not as wide as my old I beam level. And even though it is compact, it seems stronger and has more weight than my larger I beam levels. I’m very happy with it and expect a long life and continued accuracy.

I had some work done on my home by Colonials Builders LLC of Ware, NH and much of the work was uneven, so this level was an awesome addition to my tool box to help correct problems. This level is sturdy, light-weight, easy to read, and of course it’s Milwaukee, so enough said.

The 72 in Redstick magnetic box level has a fantastic build quality. It feels very solid and you get the impression it will be very accurate as well. I used it to test numerous areas within my home as it was being built. Everything showed it was consistently level and everything was square. It is easy to read even from a distant. The large length make it great for testing for level across large surfaces, such as counters, and flooring. It is a great product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a professional level.

This is for the serious DIY’r or contractor level tradesman that is using a box level on a daily basis. This unit is comprised of a solid beam type construction with quality bump stop ends that will handle most serious use. Fits sturdy in the hand and in use on job site. is very accurate for most construction needs. Vials are sharp and crisp with level bubble precise to give accurate level measurements in both the vertical and horizontal plane. Highly recommend it.

I used this level for leveling concrete blocks. It worked very well. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a large level due to, I’m only a home DIY’er.

Milwaukee makes incredible and durable box levels. I would highly recommend this for big jobs. Just used this for a bathroom remodel. compared to my old box level the Milwaukee one is highly accurate. The bumper ends are great because you don’t want to bang them around on your new remodel. My old level has chips from banging around so I am not sure if that plays a factor in accuracy. The handle grip is a nice feature if you are hauling around a bunch of stuff in your construction site.
