This Milwaukee Redstick two-pack (24” and 48”) level is a great combination set and is a significant step-up from my other levels. I reach for the 24” level for many of my everyday needs, such as when I want to check the level of a picture, appliance or other small item. I usually use the 48” level when I want to check the level of a cabinet project or window. The levels are very sturdy, heavy duty and have the quality of a professional grade level. The aluminum frame has two milled faces to ensure flatness. On the 48” level, there are hand grips built into the frame to make it easier to hold. The hand grips and end caps are made from a very durable non-slip material to protect the level. The end caps can be removed if you need the end of the level to be flush with the surface. What I like most about these levels are the large easy-to-read bubbles. The bubble tubes are larger than any of my other levels which makes it very easy to read from a distance. The two-pack makes a great set for both large and small projects.

Very heavy duty and accurate. I would rather have a hard case vs the soft case, also the case is a universal fit. The smaller level falls all the way to the bottom of the soft case and is a bit difficult to get out some times. Overall a great product though.

Well constructed tough levels. The vials are a good size and easy to read.

The magnetic level is great for Accuracy and I love the big bubbles. I’ve only had it about a month and yes it does meet my expectations. I use it every day.

These levels are extremely heavy duty, and will hold up to any construction area you can throw at it. The are a bit pricey, but made very well. The vials are large and really easy to see, even if you don’t have the best sight, or maybe in a dimly lit room. I also love the molded metal top and bottom. The feel somewhat like a metal file, but really add some gripping strength when trying to level. Its very nice know that my level will not slide around. The removal end caps are also an extra bonus. I have been in situations where I had to buy a new level while framing lust because the one I was using was an inch to long. The Milwaukee actually lets you remove each end cap to give you an extra 1″ clearance if needed. All in all, these levels are solid, accurate and have a great warranty. I 100% recommend.

I know these are made specifically to install doors and door jambs but they are awesome. You can see the bubble from any angle, low light and even from some distance. The material they are covered with almost feels like rubber, non-slip and easy to handle Since the bubble is huge and not hidden by little supports it’s so easy to see even without my glasses, and it’s dead-on just make a mark reverse the level use the same side upside down and you’ll see it’s right on.

The levels are fantastic! High quality, light, strong, durable. Easy to read. The magnetic component is sweet and useful. I had to order them though and they were 2 weeks later than their projected arrival. Also didn’t care for the customer service when I picked them up. Employees were rude and unfriendly. I was clearly a hassle to them for picking up the order.

I have had this set for about a month now and i really like it, the 4 footer has taken a beating on a couple of deck jobs and is still true, the levels just feel nice, they are slimmer than a stabila but feel more solid and the bubbles are easy to read even when you are not right on top of them. I like them as much as like my stabilas.

These levels are a great duo that can handle any kind of project; heavy construction, home repair/remodel, carpentry, metal work, masonry etc. The magnetic strip is very useful, especially when we are working with steel beam construction, rebar etc. The compact design makes it easy to use on framing and other small projects, as well as making it easy to transport around big construction sites. I would recommend this product duo to anyone at any level of expertise. They are well made, high quality, and durable and priced right considering you’re receiving two of them.

These levels should not disappoint anyone for quality or accuracy. They are well made and machined and dead-on accurate compared to a digital level. The levels in the set are compact in size (1 inch thick by 2 inches wide) and may fit into an area that a full-sized level may not. What I especially noticed were the over-sized vials that are easy to see and read; also easy to clean. My only knock is their higher price than other comparable professional grade levels.

Great level! Built like a tank.Wow! I am very impressed with the quality of these levels. Before my purchase, I wasn’t familiar with Milwaukee Redsticks. But now that I’ve seen the quality of these tools, I love them. They are solid, machined aluminum construction. The levels are spot on.

I never thought I would need a level that was taller than myself, but it certainly comes in handy when you have a job such as re-framing your front entrance. We took on a fairly decent project of converting our single door front entrance into a double door with side windows. The doors are 96″ tall and the frame was even taller than that. Of course you can use a smaller level to achieve the same end result, but having a single level that matches almost the entire length of your framing makes the job quicker and easier. The construction of the level itself is actually very impressive. It has a very nice weight to it, is extremely easy to read, has ergonomic handles and the rare earth magnets inside provide it with a very strong hold.

I used it , and after I got done hanging a door, it wasn’t level. But I still need more time using it.

This kit came well packaged without any damage. The levels are at lengths that make them perfect for installing doors. I put hook and loop tape at a couple of spots on each level and on the door jamb and was able to hang the doors while leaving the levels in-place and adjusting as necessary. Once the doors were installed the tape removed easily from the jambs and I left the softer loop sides on the levels. These are well constructed and the leveling tubes are easy to read.

Very Impress with the holding power of the magnets on the Milwaukee red stick Levels, The levels kind of heavy but very well made looks like they can withstand some rough punishment, 48″ level Works great on metal studs, and the 24″ on smaller work area’s, The ends of the levels have a heavy duty rubber cap to protect the level if dropped, Yes I would recommend to the homeowner and professional

What a nice set of levels, Great for anything from laying beams to hanging a door. They are solid, very nicely made, very cleanly machined straight edges, They have rare earth magnets in them which were developed in the 1970s, rare-earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnets made, producing significantly stronger magnetic fields than most any other type of magnet, so you won’t have to worry about them falling off wherever you stick them. Milwaukee famous for their right angle drills that they invented in 1949 has been around a long time and produces a quality product,,,well worth the investment as these levels will last you a lifetime,,,,,,

Although I’m not a contractor by trade I’ve been doing construction for family, friends and business for over 45 years. In that time I’ve accumulated many levels in assorted sizes. Some, good quality, some, not so good. I’ve also been using Wilwaukee products, almost exclusively, for the past five years due to their exceptional quality so when I saw their new line of REDSTICK Magnetic Box Levels I knew I would be impressed. From experience I know their quality to be Top of the Line but the pricing of these levels definitely gave me sticker shock. Can they really be worth the price they’re asking? These levels incorporate all the high-end features you’d expect. Lifetime guaranteed .0005 in. accuracy, exceptional readability in all three vials, rubber end-caps, over-molded, non-slip grips (48 in. and up), strength of construction with an all-metal backbone and super strong amplified rare earth magnets. Also, all of them have a hanging-hole so they can be stored off the ground. I ordered an assortment of sizes to replace all my other levels. I can truly say that until you hold one of these in you hands you will never be able to appreciate the overall quality of this tool. Due to the high price point these are probably not the levels for the weekend handyman unless you demand the very best in your tools. I’m still not sure I can justify the selling price of these, I’d like to think they’re just testing the market, but bottom line, unless in the future there’s some major revelation in the level industry these are the ones I’ll be buried with. I know, I’m a tool junky. LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTYEvery MILWAUKEE hand tool is warranted to the original purchaser only to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
