I use and review all of my tools and equipment from the “do it yourself” (DIY) perspective. I have not used a digital only level before; so I have to admit I was initially a little intimidated by the Redstick digital. It does not have any level vials/bubbles for reference. Milwaukee makes quality “redstick box levels” with good vials; so why not include one or more reference vials on the digital model. I considered this a “negative”. As I initially worked with the level my first impression was this level was a 3 out of 5 for the average DIY guy. The instruction manual is very “basic”. The first challenge was opening the battery door without breaking it. The manual simply says “unlatch the battery door” but no clue how to do that. It is a very tight latch. Open it wrong and chances are you will break the latch or your finger nails. I figured it out after carefully working with it for a while. Next is to decide which mode (angle, percent or in/ft) is best. Turns out that is determined by the particular application or project information needed. The sound feature is useful when you cannot see the digital readout, otherwise it can become annoying and I found it best to turn it off until needed. As I worked more with the Redstick, I got more comfortable with the features and with the digital level as a practical tool. It is very well built, very good quality, extremely accurate, sturdy and durable. The battery charges quickly and holds the charge well. I liked the PIN setting once I figured it out. For example, set an angle and replicate that same angle above to achieve parallel lines; or find a desired angle measurement. There is a front side digital display and a top side display. There is no back side display and I found that omission to be a negative. Perhaps Milwaukee could not include a display on the back side but it would have been a nice addition. The “menu and setting” display screen is on the front side of the level. However, half the times I used the menu and settings, it would have been convenient to have the display also on the top side of the level. As I became more comfortable with the Redstick, I upgraded my rating to 4 out of 5. This is an expensive tool and while very good, could be better with some modifications. I still think that good quality Milwaukee level vials would be a welcome addition, that there should be a back side display, a top side menu setting display, an improved battery latch – and a better user manual. Otherwise, though not perfect, this 24 inch Redstick digital is very good. It may be too expensive for the average home DIY guy but a nice “high end” addition to the tool arsenal whether DIY or pro.

I love my new 24 IN. REDSTICK DIGITAL BOX LEVEL WITH PIN-POINT MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY! This is one of the neatest tools I have ever used! It has read outs for degrees (naturally), and percent, for figuring grades! When performing tasks that are repetitive, you can lock in a reading and replicate that reading to all required positions! At first glance, it seemed a little intimidating, but after playing with it for a few minutes, it was almost second nature to use! I really love my Redstick and know that you will too!

Sturdy and defiantly waterproof! Used it when we had thee gully washer rainstorms outside out here in Kansas City, Mo numerous times! One of the better features is the on/off button on the end (which helps with accidental activation). With that in mind the on/off button is sturdy and you have to deliberately push it to make it go on. NOTE* There are several settings when you push on the on/off button including strobe. Now this light light is very bright…and I mean it! Worth the $$$. Its small has a clip. You can even easily carry it the cargo pockets in your pants due to its size. Being rechargeable means you will save a ton of $$$$ in buying batteries. When you factor in that this flash light is a great bargain! I saved the receipt and box since this has a 2 year warranty 🙂

This 24 Inch Redstick level is a remarkable improvement in innovation in box levels. Having owned traditional bubble levels for decades I can attest that this digital level is superior by far. The ability to use the tone to check level allows you to change the base the level is sitting in and be in an awkward position. You will know when you are level by both the tone (if selected) and the top and side screens that show detailed information on the measurement. You may select from various setting to measure by such as angle or SAE/Metric measurements. You may also lock point angles allowing you to repeat a particular angle without having to reset each time. Just pick the angle and lock the pinpoint setting. Every time you achieve that measurement, the level will tell you. Light weight, durable and auto-adjusting screen allows for high and low light visibility. I love this level. I use it for projects and leveling my RV out on campsites. The best by far.

Even though this flashlight is rechargeable it offers highbeam low power and a strobe let me tell you why I like this this can also be used as a deterrent if someone is coming close to you and you do not know that person you can use the strobe to disorient them that’s how powerful it is as an all-around flashlight as a mobile home park manager this flashlight has become my friend it’s also become my traveling companion it is extremely strong has the capability of zooming from flood the spot this is a flashlight which is extremely well-made I have a snap on this Milwaukee is better than that this is more reliable I think if you buy this flashlight you must remember one thing in order to get the most out of it try to keep it on low power only use it on high power if you really truly need it I highly recommend this flashlight

I normally don’t write reviews but last week I dropped this flashlight down an elevator shaft while working from the 9th floor and it’s still running great with only some minor dings and dents. Pros: Bright natural light, Compact, Easy to charge by plugging in a micro-usb Cons: Takes a while to charge, Battery is not replaceable, Annoying random flashing when battery is low
