I am reviewing the 72 inch model of this level and I am a skilled home DIYer not a pro builder. First thing, The level arrived well packed with no issues. Mine came with a Milwaukee storage case as well which I really appreciated. The storage case was well made and the level fit perfectly. The level comes with a Milwaukee rechargeable battery and USB cable socket adapter and wall mount, it was partially charged when it arrived but I charged it according to the instructions before testing it. The set up was actually very easy and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The readout is in degrees and is easy to understand, the readout is bright and easy to read. I tried this out while leveling some flooring beams on my back porch, I am replacing the framing due to rot. The 72 inch length really helped level things quickly as I could correct multiple joist in one session. In general the length is a bit much for a homeowner and they do offer 24 and 48 inch versions. This would be ideal for installing doors and framing. The level itself is well made with machined surfaces. The digital readout is a vast improvement over a bubble level especially over wider spans where it really matters.

Great FL the drawback is the USB plug on the FL itself! When plugging & unplugging can break the USB It will render the FL useless! but there’s a way around it! Unfortunately it’s buying a Milwaukee charger & changing the batteries! Yes, A Hassle but the FL is powerful! & Milwuke warranty is a pain

So far so good. Really lights up the work space! Nice to have the 100 lumen option too, as 700 can be too much on closer objects..it’s that bright! Battery is working as advertised, no issues here. Impressed with the battery life, to be honest. Negative: pocket clip. Gets in the way. I removed it.

Even though this flashlight is rechargeable it offers highbeam low power and a strobe let me tell you why I like this this can also be used as a deterrent if someone is coming close to you and you do not know that person you can use the strobe to disorient them that’s how powerful it is as an all-around flashlight as a mobile home park manager this flashlight has become my friend it’s also become my traveling companion it is extremely strong has the capability of zooming from flood the spot this is a flashlight which is extremely well-made I have a snap on this Milwaukee is better than that this is more reliable I think if you buy this flashlight you must remember one thing in order to get the most out of it try to keep it on low power only use it on high power if you really truly need it I highly recommend this flashlight

This has a rechargeable battery that powers the digital display. The battery can be charged via a USB cable. The display gives the actual angle or can be set for a slope that measures in inches/foot or metric equivalent, That would be great for drain line or gutter installation. There is also an audible beep to let you know when you reach you a set angle or level/plumb goal. However, I couldn’t get that to work properly for me. I’ll have try it again later. The digital display takes the guess work out of trying to read a bubble – especially in a low light condition. No more “that looks close/good” comments during construction. I would suggest that they might consider adding a couple of bubbles as a backup to the digital display. The level comes with a nice carrying case.

Whenever I tackle a job, I always want to give it the best effort that I can. That’s why tools with 21st century technology like this one will improve your accuracy. I really appreciate the easy to read displays on the side and top as well as the audible cues as I approach level, plumb or any set angle in between. When placed on its side, this level automatically goes into standby mode and turns off both displays; then if not used after 10 minutes, it will “sleep,” extending the battery life between charges. The enclosed quick-start pamphlet gives you the essential operation and settings choices to use this tool almost immediately, but you’ll want to read the detailed manual to take full advantage of the available customization’s. Most useful setting for me is the “inch/foot”. This is great when setting/checking the slope for drain lines, gutters, ADA ramps or preparing the base for pavers. Heck, even when turned off it functions as an accurate straight edge when checking for bowed studs in wall framing.

(Pros) Bright-light is warm in color tone/Solid construction/Great battery life/Easy to grip(Cons) Spot focus very small range and doesn’t lock in place. Not waterproof. Clearance for charging cable is tight so not all cables can be used. Battery gets unusually warm after a few minutes of use.
