This saw is the future! Its light, durable, and wont bog down when cutting. This tool pays for its self in the long run compared to your conventional 2cycle engine saws. It maximizes production, and is comfortable to use with little vibration transferred to the user.

I purchased the cut off saw with the water tank pump system as to keep the dust down on a concrete cutting project i had around the house. I was impressed with the power the saw had seeing it was using a lithium battery. The saw came as advertised as far as doing the job and doing it well. The only issue i had in the performance of the saw was the length of time the battery lasted. I was getting 10 mins of work at most for 1 battery cutting 5” concrete.

Great saw we have purchased two units so far, and will be picking more up this year. we are replacing our gas powered saws with the MX 14

Use this for cutting expansion joints in new concrete and it works amazing. Definitely recommend using the backpack tank for water supply, the gravity fed tank doesn’t quite keep up. The mount for the backpack unit sits very close to the ground, definitely will be modifying this myself. The balance on the cart also feel off once the backpack tank is mounted. The saw performance was great!!! Has plenty of power to cut anything in it’s path. Very pleased!!

Rented the 18 inch battery concrete saw at Home Depot rentals. Rental comes with only one battery……. The good : No fumes, instant start, quieter than gas powered. , good power…. The cons : Limited battery. When your battery needs recharge, you are shutdown. Slightly heavier with battery than a 2 cycle gas saw…….This would be great for cutting blocks, bricks, pipes, or rebar. It is not a good replacement of a gas saw cutting slabs or walls. When your battery needs recharge, you are shutdown.

Works great. Debated whether to buy a walk behind saw until this came out with the cart. Multi-purpose tool that fit our needs.

love the part that my arm doesn’t hurt from the old pull start days. saw runs great and last a lot longer per charge then i thought it would, definitely a game changer

Just as good as the gas version only drawback is that it’s heavier than gas version

We tested this product on DI pipe and concrete cinder blocks it cut it quickly. i know its the blade that cuts the pipe but the torque that it has is outstanding. only draw back that it does not have a safety feature for a potential “kick back”. I would recommend buying two batteries if your going to use this machine constantly. But the product itself is an amazing tool. very durable and the water feature really keeps the dust down tremendously. Item is great use inside small rooms and no need for gas. no fumes. you know its on from the moment you push the “ON” button. No priming , no choking , most important no time wasted.

I love the power of the saw and convenience of no gas and oil to mix or trying to pull start. With the battery in it’s a bit on the heavy side , heavier than a gas saw but still I like it better. The battery doesn’t seem to last as long as I thought it would. I have only used it a few times so far maybe the battery will get a little better.

Averaged 13 feet cutting 6 inch thick concrete slab per battery . Able to use indoors without smoking out building using waterhosr and vacuum. I have a gas walk behind for big outdoor cuts .

MX Fuel 14″ saw is excellent at cutting concrete and metal demo work. Not needing gas or mixing of gas just makes it ready to go ! Batteries are long lasting , has plenty of power to get the job done and no exhaust fumes to worry about. No gas motor maintenance needed. As Power utility contractor we have put this to the test and I would recommend you upgrade for all you cutting needs.

We used this saw a few weeks ago on one of our jobs to demo 4″, 6″, and 8″ cast iron risers in a parking garage. The saw cut through the cast with ease and not having to worry about the emissions of a gas powered saw was a major plus. The saw does have some weight to it, but the performance and the fact that it is a cordless tool makes it a great addition to our tool inventory.

My guys in the field love this. We do not have to worry about fuel and my guys love having this tool available on a cordless platform. The quality of the tool is second to none.

I was a little skeptical about if this saw would have enough power – but that thought quickly passed when I used it for the first time. I needed to cut a small piece of metal for a welding project and didn’t want to get the cutting torch out and grinder for just that – so I decided to try the new saw with a metal-cutting blade. The metal was 1/2″ thick by 6″ long and I needed to make a fairly strait cut – but the Milwaukee saw cut through it easily even though I did “bear” down on it trying to test it’s power! I probably should not have been so surprised at the power it does have but was only used to gas cut-off saws that I’ve used before. We, no doubt, will be using this saw often to cut small portions of asphalt and concrete that we need to remove where using other saws with exhaust fumes would pose a problem. While the “weight” of the saw is still significant, it still will be a real “gem” in our tool arsenal during our work projects. Thanks, Milwaukee, for continuing to build productive tools for “real-life” work situations!
