With a true barium sulfate coating, this 24″ x 50′ roll of Juniper Baryta Rag 305 Paper from Moab offers a style and feel similar to traditional darkroom FB-type paper due to an excellent density with smooth natural highlights. The paper features a 100% cotton fiber base with a 305 gsm basis weight and a thickness of 16 mil. Also, it is single-sided and does not use any optical brightening agents for maximum longevity. The paper offers a glossy finish and is made in the USA.

I just replaced an old Epson R300 with the P900. I’m printing old scanned color and black and white negatives for an upcoming exhibition and wanted a nicer paper. I’m not sure how much it’s the paper and how much the printer but the Juniper Baryta prints are beautiful, both color and Black and White. Previously the prints looked like they were ‘on’ the paper. Now they look like they’re ‘in’ the paper, like old darkroom prints. The weight, tone and subtle texture are perfect for my needs.

Unfortunately this paper will not load in the roll paper path on the Epson P800. So I am unable to use it.

This paper stock is relatively new, taking the place of the old Colorado printing paper which was a favorite of mine. This product does not disappoint. B&H keeps plenty of sizes and stock on hand to meet any printing demands you may have.

This is a terrific paper for my ecommerce business. It’s bright but not overpowering, and the Baryta Look – a luster finish that has no point glare, with a very slight stipple. Colors are spot on, blacks also work well. The price is good and compare well with euro papers. Can’t say enough about B&H service – always top shelf ! I ordered it on Saturday night and it was delivered to my eastern Mass door on Monday morning – w/o any shipping charge
