The double sided Lasal Photo Matte 235 from Moab is water-resistant, as well as pulp-, acid-, and lignin-free. The paper’s brilliant white guarantees that your photos will true to life color. The paper is recommended for use with pigment-based ink and can be used with dye-based ink as well. Each box contains 50 sheets of 4 x 6″ paper.

This paper is a life saving, game changing, irreplaceable game changer. i use it ceaselessly as proof paper. When I’m experimenting with a print, I use this as a proxy for other, more expensive paper. It’s low overall price, combined with printability on both sides, makes it (relatively) painless to try out different settings. I print with Epson printers (R380 & R1400) and with Claria inks. I wanted an archival paper that would print solid and sharp colors, good contrast, and solid blacks. The Lasal Photo Matte is doing a great job for me!

The Moab Lasal Photo Matte paper is amazing. It’s crisp white. It’s heavy enough to feel substantial. It’s a deep matte, which is what I like for photos. I don’t want any shine. There is no bronzing on this paper. It’s sharp and colors are very rich. I use this for all my normal photo prints for clients. I use this paper with an Epson r2880. I’ve done scratch and water tests on this paper and it holds up extremely well. I’ve dunked a print completely underwater with a minute of coming off the printer and nothing streaked. After drying, it looked as good as a non wet print. One of my favorite aspects of this paper is that it comes in a wide variety of cut sheets including 4×6, 5×7, and 8.5 x 11. I DO wish it came in 8×10. Also comes in larger cut sheets as well as rolls all the way to 44 wide.

I used this product to make photographic prints on. The paper made the colors dull and not true to the actual image. The contrast was horrible. I tried to make my files accommodate to the paper but it didn’t work. I will never use this paper again. It was so frustrating.

I used this photo paper to print some wedding photo’s for my collegue. Not only was I impressed by the effect and depth of the picture I was also surprised by that such a low price paper can produce such a fine picture. I used Canon pro9000 Mark II to print and this was one of the best so far.

I use this paper to make business cards and flyer’s. I like the fact that it is printable on BOTH sides. Plus, my canon printer is compatible with this paper and leaves no lines and both text and images look sharp. I also like the fact that this paper is a bright white, not cream color. I purchased this product as an alternative to the Epson Enhanced Matte paper that I was used to using. I was building a portfolio book and the pages would hold prints back to back, but since this is double-sided, I thought I’d give it a try and cut down on the amount of paper in the book. As long as you get the paper profiles, this stuff works great! It has a nice, smooth texture and the blacks are very rich and velvety on my Epson Photo 1400. And it’s less money than the Epson counterparts. If you’re looking for a replacement for your previous heavyweight matte papers, you can’t go wrong with Moab. They’ve got a great lineup. Cheers.
