This paper is luscious – I love the way it holds the ink and the blacks are deep and velvety. I made a book with it for a photo class and it got rave reviews. Other students loved the feel of the paper and the scrumptious colors as much as I did. Wonderful product!

Although a little expensive, this is a case of you get what you pay for. The paper is heavy enough to stay flat and dry flat and it reproduces the colors more accurately than anything I have used so far. I use Lightroom to print and the result looks like my screen, with less luminosity, of course.

I print all my portfolios with this paper and clients can’t stop talking about the look and especially the feel of the paper as they are turning the page. As an added bonus, you can print on both sides! A big part of my look and feel!

I needed a good weight paper to make some holiday cards, Ive used other paper from Moab before but not for this application. I was not disappointed, my cards printed out vividly and beautifully

I use it for fine art prints. I haven’t used a ton of other papers, but in comparison to one or two others I tried when I first got my 3880, the Lasal had much better darks and an overall great look. A nice bright white paper.

This paper is high quality and reasonably priced.

I achieved better than expected results with this matte paper. A good value.

This paper is fantastic. It has a fantastic matte look, while still retaining incredible sharpness and vibrant colors. Clients love the way it feels in their hands and always ask where I got it. I will go to this paper again and again. I use several sizes, the larger 11×14 for my book and 8.5×11 for a smaller loose portfolio box.

This paper has a nice weight to it, and a soft matte surface. I use it to print my photographs for personal use and I really enjoy the quality of the image. Its easy to load into a printer, and I would recommend it for most uses.. its nice enough for final prints and durable enough to put in a portfolio. I think its a great price too, perfect for the middle range of the Moab papers.

After trying a couple other papers from Legion I found this one. The others seems a bit too warm to me. This one is very clean bright and neutral, dries very quickly and results in a very sharp print. I use a three hole, pre-scored paper in my portfolio and this is the best I’ve found for my preferences. The paper is 13X12 with one inch for book binding. The print area is 12X12 allowing for horizontal, vertical or square prints without having to turn the book. I wish the specs and info on this page listed that it was pre-scored and drilled with a standard 3-hole for a book. Would also be nice if there was a link to ICC profiles but you can find those at Legion Paper’s site.

A good paper for flyers or test prints of photos. Gives much better image quality than copy paper, while it still doesn’t break the bank. Works fine with a HP B8850 and stays in my paper tray.

Excellent. Exceptional customer service.

I have had great luck with this product in the past, but upon inspecting the paper after opening, I noticed that nearly every side of every sheet has small specks of what looks like ink (which will appear as a printing error). I will be using this paper for my midterm critique and have to say I’m disappointed! I will probably use the product again out of necessity, but I would honestly expect more from this company.

It is difficult to find a good paper for cards and art prints that give good results on an inkjet printer. MOAB Lasal photo matte paper (235 gsm) is the best card weight paper I have found. The color quality is superb. I had no troupble with jamming even when I cut down the 11 X 17 size for 8.5 x 11 prints.

I like to make my own 5×7 greeting cards, printing both sides on my Epson R-2400 printer. Moab Lasal Matte prints up nearly as well as the expensive matte papers but has a lower cost and a perfect weight. All the matte papers with a 190-205 weight are too light, and all the 280 and 300 papers are too heavy. This one is just right. It folds beautifully and looks great. The only paper that’s better is the 256 Hahnemuhle Natural Art Duo, but that one is a lot more expensive. I use both.

I use an Epson 1900 to print photo’s from 4 x 6 to 13 x 19. Most of my images are brightly colored with a fair amount of detail. The Lasal Photo Matte maintains the contrast and detail. The stark white enhances the strength of the images, holds the ink well, and is not distorted by the spray varnish I use.

Nice paper for the price. The surface is a little fragile, even for matte paper. Prints well on my Epson 3800 with QuadToneRip using Moab Entrada Neutral profile. A little on the magenta side of neutral when printing with the ICC profile through photoshop. I bought it for a book maquette, probably not the ideal use for the paper due to the fragile surface. Too bad because if folds easily, it’s thin, and has a wonderful feel to it. It may be more useful as a proofing paper for Entrada or Hahnemuhle Photo Rag though.
