The double sided Lasal Photo Matte 235 from Moab is water-resistant, as well as pulp-, acid-, and lignin-free. The paper’s brilliant white guarantees that your photos will true to life color. The paper is recommended for use with pigment-based ink and can be used with dye-based ink as well. Each box contains 50 sheets of 5 x 7″ paper.

Nice paper for the price. The surface is a little fragile, even for matte paper. Prints well on my Epson 3800 with QuadToneRip using Moab Entrada Neutral profile. A little on the magenta side of neutral when printing with the ICC profile through photoshop. I bought it for a book maquette, probably not the ideal use for the paper due to the fragile surface. Too bad because if folds easily, it’s thin, and has a wonderful feel to it. It may be more useful as a proofing paper for Entrada or Hahnemuhle Photo Rag though.

I used this photo paper to print some wedding photo’s for my collegue. Not only was I impressed by the effect and depth of the picture I was also surprised by that such a low price paper can produce such a fine picture. I used Canon pro9000 Mark II to print and this was one of the best so far.

This is my favorite paper for test prints. Even though it’s not as heavy duty as their Rag, it’s a bargain for the price. 50 sheets for less than what the Entrada Rag costs.

I used this product to make photographic prints on. The paper made the colors dull and not true to the actual image. The contrast was horrible. I tried to make my files accommodate to the paper but it didn’t work. I will never use this paper again. It was so frustrating.

I normally use the 300 gsm product but for the project I’m doing needed something less dense. I’m using the Epson Enhanced Matte profile from a “hundred” years ago when I bought my 3800. I will only say that it does curl when wet and freshly printed. This has NOT impacted performance so still a five star product. Also it does lay flat within an hour or so. You can send it through your rototrim immediately but the cut won’t be perfectly straight. I’m pretty anul retentive so I just let it dry. I have not attempted a glue down to mat board as yet. I like to glue my prints down so that is why I usually go with the 300 gsm. If you’re doing a standard tape hinge or photo corners or slipping into album sleeves this is a perfectly fine choice.

This paper makes beautiful prints – I purchased it because it was a more affordable matte. Next time I might go for a higher quality matte photo paper though.

i bought this paper instead of epson ultra premium premium matte which b&h can no longer ship to canada. it is a brighter paper but is heavier and double-sided. i use it with an epson 3800 and i must say that there were some theeting problems. the icc profile provided by moab did not work for me but eventually i noticed the icm mode in the epson 3800 print settings. that worked well-along with some reduction in the color density under the paper configuration tab. i am now quite happy with the paper

This is excellent paper! Printer friendly, and quality really brings out the colors of my watercolor sketches. My local framer recommended this specific matte paper for reproductions and she was right! I will use this 235 from now on!

I don’t have much experience with professional paper, but the quality of this paper is top. The colours are very bright. I used a Pixma 9000Pro and even though the colour calibration was done for a Canon Mate paper the results were stunning. The paper is heavy enough for any use.

I love this paper for book projects, it prints easily double-sided on an Epson 3880, even using the sheet feeder, though it is extremely smooth. It is also affordable and a great weight. Obviously, like other matte papers, it scratches fairly easily though not terribly. Be aware, the 8.5×11 sheets are grain-long.
