This paper is luscious – I love the way it holds the ink and the blacks are deep and velvety. I made a book with it for a photo class and it got rave reviews. Other students loved the feel of the paper and the scrumptious colors as much as I did. Wonderful product!

I love the quality of this paper. The thickness is just right and they make wonderful cards.

Good for post cards, test prints etc. If you own an Epson 3880 you can’t use the rear feeder for paper this small, so the recommended media type (ultra smooth fine art paper) can’t be used in the print settings and you have to select matte instead, which ever so slightly decreases the way the black reproduce, but it hasn’t really mattered for me. Anyways, there’s no way around that if you want to print 5×7 – I wish moab offered a profile specifically for this paper size but I guess that’s asking a lot. Other than that, it’s a matte – so you know, it doesn’t have the same detail in the black etc but it has such a nice surface. pros and cons of different paper types.

Hard to get accurate color, lots of adjustments.

This paper is excellent for my landscape photographs. I’m using it with a Canon Pro-100 printer which uses dye inks. Considering it’s a matte paper, the color intensity is more than satisfactory.

Same finish and look as Entrada but lighter weight and much less expensive. In a frame under glass it does the same good work as the more expensive cotton rag paper, and being alpha – cellulose, it’s still acid free and archival.

I am a graphic designer, and have been using this paper to create some portfolio pieces and I have nothing horrible to say about this paper, double sided, it holds color quite well. It does a great job with hairline fonts. I use this paper with an Epson R2880 printer. Just make sure you set the correct ICC color profile. Download it from their website. Fantastic alternative to Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte, I have used it to create books but now use Lasal 235.

The photo paper was exactly what my wife wanted. Thank you

Out of all the double sided papers on the market, this moab product is by far my favorite when mocking up full color spreads for clients when color accuracy is crucial. With its ability to print on both sides and an affordable price, I will continue to steer others towards this amazing product

This is my go-to paper for illustration prints. I had to switch from my local print shop a few years ago due to equipment changes on their end. The paper market has an abundance of great options but pricing varies wildly. I found Moab Lasal to be an excellent combination of value and quality. Bright, vibrant colors, good weight and feel.

I have been very happy with the results on this paper, granted, there are heavier weight matte papers with a very nice feel, but for the price, the Lasal Photo Matte 235 paper is great!

I bought this to use as tests before printing on the expensive pre-scored pre-punched Lasal Matte 235 available from Pina Zangaro and others. But you can get an adjustable hole punch and a ScorPal, spend a few moments, and save close to $500 with your first box.

I have only test printed a couple of targets so far to get a custom profile built for use with my printer and this paper. The color and sharpness on the targets looked good. The true test will be when I begin printing my portfolio in a few weeks.

Great matte paper, good weight and brightness. I wish the color profiles were better. I wish it was sold in 17×22 size, not A2.

I’ve been using Moab Entrada Rag and like it for many things, but not all images, so I got some sample sheets of Lasal Photo Matte to try for subjects that have more dynamic range, color vibrance and contrast. I was very disappointed. I even downloaded the ICC Profile from the Moab website and found the colors to be so muted they looked kind of smudged and muddy. The prints lacked vibrance, especially the yellows, and the reddish/pink/blue tones dominated. I’m going back to Canon Pro Premium Matte for everything, even though I don’t like trimming to the sizes I need. Was looking for a comparable quality 4×6 paper for small size fine art prints with punch and hoped the Lasal Matte would work. Sorry it did not.
