I normally use the 300 gsm product but for the project I’m doing needed something less dense. I’m using the Epson Enhanced Matte profile from a “hundred” years ago when I bought my 3800. I will only say that it does curl when wet and freshly printed. This has NOT impacted performance so still a five star product. Also it does lay flat within an hour or so. You can send it through your rototrim immediately but the cut won’t be perfectly straight. I’m pretty anul retentive so I just let it dry. I have not attempted a glue down to mat board as yet. I like to glue my prints down so that is why I usually go with the 300 gsm. If you’re doing a standard tape hinge or photo corners or slipping into album sleeves this is a perfectly fine choice.

I have only test printed a couple of targets so far to get a custom profile built for use with my printer and this paper. The color and sharpness on the targets looked good. The true test will be when I begin printing my portfolio in a few weeks.

Use it to print greeting cards based on my wife’s artwork. This particular size is hard to find, and it works well on our high-end inkjet printer. Paper is a little thinner than I would like, but beats having to cut 8 1/2 X 11 size down to 10 X 7

Be sure to download the Lasal color profile for your printer from Moab’s web site for best results.

I bought this to use as tests before printing on the expensive pre-scored pre-punched Lasal Matte 235 available from Pina Zangaro and others. But you can get an adjustable hole punch and a ScorPal, spend a few moments, and save close to $500 with your first box.

I have been using Lasal Photo Matte for years with a Canon 9000 Mark II. I print from Photoshop or Lightroom, using the Moab Profile. It’s a mystery to me, but compare to many other matte paper I have tried, the Lasal Photo Matte just works best with my printer for proofing.

Its a nice paper with a clean texture and prints well. The problem I have with it is that it is really thin double sided paper so I dont think its very good for promotional cards etc. 235 gsm is too thin.

I just started using this paper brand on Canon Pro 1. Moab Lasal Matte paper is awesome. The color quality is amazing for both photo and art reproduction. Also it’s doubled sided so I can put my company logo on the back. Price point is awesome. Wish the paper was a little more rigid. But I will be buying it again.

i bought this paper instead of epson ultra premium premium matte which b&h can no longer ship to canada. it is a brighter paper but is heavier and double-sided. i use it with an epson 3800 and i must say that there were some theeting problems. the icc profile provided by moab did not work for me but eventually i noticed the icm mode in the epson 3800 print settings. that worked well-along with some reduction in the color density under the paper configuration tab. i am now quite happy with the paper

Perfect for 2 sided printing. Makes great postcards using color photos and graphics on both sides. Perfect compatibility with Epson printer.

This is the next paper I tried after using Canons Pro Luster, which I didnt like at all. Using the Moab paper sample print booklet, in which they show the same image printed on a variety of papers by the Canon pro-1000, this was appeared to me to be the best Moab matte paper except for the Somerset, which is very expensive. The colors are superb and the contrast range remarkable. The only complaint I have about this paper is that when prints are viewed under cold skylight, the use of optical brightners becomes obvious in an exaggeration of blue tones, but this is probably true of any papers using such brightners.

I’ve found this paper to be excellent on my canon pro-1000 printer, as good as papers costing much more. The only drawback would be if you’re looking for a paper having no optical brighteners.

I use this paper for exhibition prints. I like its weight and surface

Great matte paper, good weight and brightness. I wish the color profiles were better. I wish it was sold in 17×22 size, not A2.

I use thie paper for my Epson 3880. It is excellent quality at a pretty reasonable price. I used one or two other papers and the lasal reproduces the darks better, with a good full range.

I have printed multiple double-sided portfolios with this paper over the years. I am a commercial photographer and need the highest quality and this paper has been great. It has also held up well!
