nice finish.

It is a little disappointing to see that the color, which was advertised as 3D quality, is not at all bright for many images…the paper is lovely quality, but with my Canon Pro-1, after downloading the ICC profile, the color is not at bright as the CanonPhoto Paper Glossy I had been using…will be trying to tweak the settings to see if there are better results.

I love this paper. I don’t generally print in metallic, but there are certain images that just make sense. This is the best metallic paper I’ve found so far. The shine is beautiful and it keeps the colors very well. B&W images are stunning.

This is becoming my new favorite paper. It prints well with a variety of different subject matter. HDR photos jump off the page. It has just enough of a pearl finish to make images pop, but not so mach to be distracting.

Initially thought it was a little pricey but the prints are awesome! Will buy again.

I like this paper because it’s not as sensitive as the Moab Slickrock Metallic Silver Paper to environmental conditions. It’s also not as sensitive to viewing angles/lighting as the Silver. But the Silver still has a special sheen that make images outworldly.

I like the high resolution and the subtlety of the metallic effect. It adds some very nice enhancement without looking gimmicky. When you want to make things obvious than the Metallic Silver is the way to go. But when you want the extra reflection without being so obvious, this Metallic Pearl is great.

I wanted to write a review on this paper because I have been blown away by the results that this paper was able to produce on my Canon IPF6450. My monitors have been calibrated using XRite’s Color Munki Photo. I used the icc profile that I have downloaded from Moab’s website. I followed Moab website’s instructions exactly. I usually have some doubts about the manufacturer’s claims of promising the heavens and the moon….however, this paper does deliver all that Moab claims. I have tried printing a B&W landscape and a color landscape photo with this paper. The images really do POP. I have tried printing the same exact images using the same settings using my former landscape paper of choice, Canon Platinum Pro Paper for a side by side comparison. The Moab’s paper gives the images an extra dimension that we are always looking for in our landscape photos. I cannot imagine this paper being appropriate for all landscape photos, however, if used correctly, I think that this paper will give your images an extra edge. I am very happy with my results. I am going to be ordering the 24×100 roll next.

Colours, details and finish are excellent. ICC profile for many printers. Cannot ask more.

Clean and crisp colors and contrast with a subtle metallic sheen. Works great with my Epson. This is my go to paper for all my nature photography prints.

Really nice paper, Has a pearl feel to it. Prints nice with the Epson 900 series with HDR inks. Rich colors, good black, good contrast. Does scratch easily !! Handle with care. Have sold some prints on this paper just after a few days of having them displayed. Pricey! but worth it.

This paper does have a lovely sheen and, I think, is best suited for images with a warmer/ yellowish character. I used it in a head-to-head print off with Canon Pro Platinum & Canon Semi-Gloss. The sane picture file (unaltered per sheet) was used for all prints-and the same printer settings (except different ICC for the Semi-Gloss). The photo was a landscape (lots of sun) with the sun behind me. The Canon Pro Platinum displayed the brightest image with the most natural color. The Canon Semi-Gloss and the Metallic Pearl 260 were fairly close for color, with the Semi-Gloss being just a little more natural in color-the Metallic Pearl has a distinctive yellow cast-that is very nice with warmer colors-but I find, not so natural. I thought the image detail was better with the Canon paper as well. I then tried two different photos -under the same conditions-and found the same results! The Metallic Pearl 260 is, also, very delicate-and must be handled with great care! I, also cannot see where the M.Pearl paper can be used without being dry mounted for display; very limp!? D.Leary

Restoring old photos (b/w or color) Produces some wonderful results. EG Depth of color and sharpness. Black and white photos seem to be have been waiting for this paper.

I was looking for a metallic paper and this one fits the bill best of the three I tested. The Hahnemhle paper would be better were it not for the obvious texture of the paper, which really distracts from the effect. And the MOAB Slickrock Metallic Silver is just over the top, wretched excess IMO. I would disagree on choosing this as the single go-to luster/glossy paper; the Lasal Exhibition Luster is better IMO, but when you want the effect of a metallic, this one is it!

I love the Slickrock Metallic Pearl for photos that need to look like they are radiating light. I use it for photos like sunsets, clouds, astrophotography and things like that. It is good for night scenes as well.

I was looking for a 11×14 option for paper and this seemed to be the best option. The only challenge that I had was figuring out what paper type matched up with my printer. Once out found that out I was good to go. My printer is an Epson P-900 and this is what I found… Slickrock Pearl uses Premium Photo Paper Semigloss Slickrock Silver uses Premium Photo Paper Glossy

I have to be the first to admit, this is not my go to paper for every day printing and use, however, I do enjoy printing photos on this stuff, when they’re right. Mostly HDR images, highly compressed where everything is kind of a mid-tone and lots of apparent light in the scene. It’s for that type of photo that this paper seems to emanate light from within – almost like looking into a monitor. If you’re looking for something a bit different, in a paper, this might be the thing that you’re looking for. It can be used to good effect.
