I purchased this particular MOAB paper for a photography project following the recommendation of the B&H staff. Superb staff knowledge, superb project outcome! Thank you B&H!

I am printing fine art Car and Motorcycle pictures, using the Pearl finish to help bring out the Metallic shine of the Cars and Motorcycles making them look fantastic

With it’s gorgeous luster and luminosity, it really made my bee photography pop. It does a great job with Epson K3 inks, printing without the color shifts you see when viewing Epson papers from off angles, which can cause an inverted, textured look. This stuff keeps the highlights bright and has a remarkably even finish. I’ve been using letter size, but am sorely tempted to get larger sizes for even more dramatic prints.

I bought this a couple of months ago and choose the store pick up. the paper camecurved at the center… been 4 weeks under HEAVY weight and still (maybe because is 310gsm) it doesn’t get better… 🙁

Nice quality. Love the finish.

I love this paper – which I sometimes use for a slightly non-realistic sheen in certain fine art landscapes. It cannot be thought of as a white paper. It is metallic and therefore generates a very slight grey. If that effect comes from a conscious choice, it can be enhancing, adding a gorgeous pop to an image. However, if not, the results can seem unexpected, weird, or just wrong!

Excellent paper, with a great contrast and that metallic print look. I use a Epson artisan 50 with dye ink to create sports cards for my customers. using this wonderful paper gives my projects that extra something special.

For the right image this is the best, I always mount it to another surface, paper or plastic, before framing due to it very light nature it can sag after time.

If you are looking for something different to spice up an image, this paper is definitely worth a try — certainly worth a package of 25 to experiment with so you know what types of images you may want to use it with. Unlike the Slickrock Metallic Silver, which has a blue cast, this Pearl paper is clean white. Be sure to download the icc profiles.

Prints well on my printer

My favorite papers, slick & shiny, with a heavy metal look!

I would buy this product over and over

I experimented with the paper for both b&w and color prints. The b&w looks exceptional nice, but the color also has something to recommend it: a watercolor look. I’m putting this paper into my repertoire.

I love printing with Moab papers – the slickrock metallic pearl being one of my favorites. The metallic pearl gives a more subtle pop with the metallic shine than metallic silver paper, while keeping the color + dynamic depth.

I am a landscape photographer and need top quality paper…the results from the Slickrock Metallic Pearl are outstanding.

I am a landscape photographer so I bought it for face mounting photos to plexiglass. I do have to say that it only looks good with certain photos…..not all photos look good on the metallic paper…….all in all….I think it looks great. The ICC profile provided was not as good as the settings for glossy paper profile……I give my images a higher concentration of contrast and use the gloss paper profile for printing……..looks fantastic.

Slickrock is an interesting paper. What kind of image works well on Slickrock? Images with shiny metals – Gold, Silver, Chrome. This paper will render them like no other paper. Images with colors that are normally out of gamut. For example, Reds and Oranges. To a lesser extent, virbrant images. In addition to having a metalic base, this paper is very glossy and has a color gamut that is just unreal. Check out the attached image comparing the color gamut of slickrock (gray) with the color gamut of Epson Exhibition Fiber. It’s not for everyone, but there are going to be certain images where using this paper makes an incredible difference. You’d be doing a disservice to yourself by not buying a box and giving it a try.

I used this product for my Creative Concepts final and my Location Photography final for Ai (Art Institute of Austin). I definitely recommend this paper, the quality is really nice and it has a wonderful metallic finish.

My favorite non-metal media. It isn’t quite a Retina screen, but for paper prints on this continue to thrill me for landscapes, night time city scapes, even a few engagement photos with golden light or streams. Could not find any better for mountain sunrise/set in mountain pools and ponds.

I have tested this product in 8 1/2 11 sheets previously and loved it. I decided to bite the bullet and purchase the 24 x 100 ft roll as well as the 17 x 100 ft roll. For the proper images and especially for B&W images….it rocks!!! The pictures take on another dimension that you normally do not get with the other papers. The paper is high quality and the colors are brilliant. I highly recommend this paper for photographers who want to take their images to the next level. This paper is a homerun from Moab!!!I currently use this product with Canon ipf6450.
